- From $80.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 1,307 reviewsGreat Location! It’s just steps away from the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. There’s a pharmacy and a 7-11 across the street. There’s also laundry services across the street. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was very good. I like that they had some different dishes every day in addition to the standard dishes. They had a fruit station, omelette station, Thai station (that had rice porridge and all the toppings, curries, Thai soups, stir fry, etc.), pancakes, bacon, miso soup, breads and pastries, juices, etc. Everything was tasty.Guest review byMeoUnited States
- From $246.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsThis place is absolutely gorgeous. It went through a rough time during the floods of oct2024. It was hit pretty badly, so they are still working on cleaning and repairing, but they are doing such a great job and it doesn’t impede the enjoyment of the place at all. It even made our stay even more special because we were only a few guests. Take full advantage before it’s bursting with guests again. Chai, the MaitréD, is exceptional and really made our stay! Thank you 🙏Guest review byMichaelUnited States
- From $486.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 75 reviewsThe service and hospitality were 5 star. The property is beautiful. The location was good for walking. Fresh fruit and delicious coffee were the highlights of breakfast, served on the terrace next to the river. There was a large selection at the buffet as well as a menu for orders. The concierge was helpful and arranged airport transportation with ease, as well as several outings/tours. All were great. I think this is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai.Guest review byMiriamUnited States

A fascinating city to visit, the temples are a must, especially Wat Chiang Man and Wat Chet Yot. The food is excellent, go visit the Anthony Bourdain eateries and try the Khao Soi ? I recommend paying a visit to the Hill Tribe museum: they’ve got exhibitions and mock-up houses from the 13 registered hill tribes in Thailand.Guest review byjondillonFrance - 10.0

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape. Thank you to the entire team for making this a stay to remember!Guest review byTanSingapore - 8.0

The homestay was perfect for us because we had a vehicle. It would be difficult for those who do not have a vehicle. We had a great time cycling around Mae Rim, including sections of the "Lanna Trail".Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. There is a decent choice of F&B establishments, supermarket, cinema, etc. Best explored if you have transport (rental car or taxi service which can be booked by the day)Guest review byW SukiSingapore - 10.0

Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air quality, which is a rare thing in Thailand. With lots of greenery and nature trails, you'll never get bored in this place. Food is also cheap and tasty. The people are nice and always smiling. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nature retreat.Guest review byletalljoshMauritius - 10.0

Chiang Mai is rightly gaining popularity as a more relaxed and cultured experience compared to Bangkok and the various tourist hotspots. The town offers something for everybody - beautiful lush National Parks around for hiking and trail running - often with unbelievable scenic temples nestled right into the landscape.Guest review byGregorUnited States - 10.0
Welcoming little town well worth visiting.
Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Beautiful spot, but very isolated, making visiting tourist attractions and temples expensive. Please be aware....some taxi drivers do not speak English at all and have to communicate via Google translate.Guest review bygabrieleAustralia - 10.0
The cool & freezing weather.
The cool & freezing weather. Must stay here for atleast one night if you have a trip to Chiang Mai. Experience the beautiful flower farm and walking distance. You will appreciate the morning fresh air & cool cloudy fog if you dont mind walking to the flower farm nearby within 15min walk . For Muslim, even though it is only one restaurant that offer halal food , but the taste was worth the price. Will repeat next time if i travel to Chiang Mai.Guest review byRosnitaMalaysia
