After traveling for months, we really missed cooking so it was important to have a kitchen. This place has an air fryer, which we don’t even have one in the states! So we made bake potatoes one night- yum! There is a grocery store 10 mins with limited veggies and meat is frozen. The big grocery store is 20 mins away into Bohol with more options. Because of the location, you’ll have to get a scooter. There is just no way around it. The guard knows a guy that will bring a scooter to you for about 400/500 a day. There is a resort ( Mayan) within walking distance that has food if you arrive famished like us. Pool area was nice. The place is tight but totally manageable, we ended up changing our plans last minute and stayed for an additional 2 nights. There is an additional bed that is also served as a couch and having a smart TV was nice to have chill evenings at home.

    Really recommend Bohol Farm!

    Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice. Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars. Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.

    You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in 2 days. The snorkeling is why I love it. You need to go to a Marine Sanctuary for the good snorkeling, although a few resorts have decent house reefs. DON'T go on one of the snorkeling/island hopping tours which are promoted at many places, especially by hawkers at Alona Beach. None of the boat motors have mufflers. They will leave you at a substandard restaurant on Balicasag Island for an outrageous length of time. Tag along on a dive boat, which you can arrange at most dive shops.

    Stunning place, beautiful views, super kind people. We stayed here for three days and everything was superb, the food was excellent and the staff was beyond helpful. It's 12 mins away from Alona beach, which is close enough to get to the tours, but also, you're not in the super touristic area, so you can actually relax. Best place to stay in Bohol-Panglao.

    Amazing staff — very attentive and kind. Great breakfast with a variety of menu options. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the bedding is top quality. Daily housekeeping was appreciated, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. You can also rent a scooter directly from the resort. A calm and peaceful boutique hotel just 200m from the sea.

    Everything about this place is exceptional. We stayed in both rooms during our stay, started with the bathtub suite then our own pool. Both were absolutely magnificent. The staff advised us to wake up early to see the sunset and honestly you have to do it. If we visited Bohol again I’d be staying here in a heartbeat.
