Friendly staff. The hotel is right near a sledding hill and the hotel has sleds for the guests to use which was an unexpected treat. There is a kids playroom in the basement which was great for our 2 year old

Absolutely wonderful experience! The owners are extremely friendly, the hotel is in a beautiful place, and I had an amazing time. Easy to park, food is good, the little bar is fun. Felt I was part of the family...honestly.

Lovely family-run place, simple, but atmospheric and cosy. There is a restaurant with local food attached. Bus stops are close by. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to help. Breakfast is good and comes with real coffee.

Breakfast was excellent, the host lady phenomenal. Coffee with smileys, assortment of cheeses , veggies, meats and fruits, atmosphere and cleanliness. All spot on. As soon we were accommodated and the first walk to the village square at 19:00, we were greeted by (to our surprise) to a beginning of a two day local parade. marching band consisted of locals dressed in folklore attire. Tomorrow the same, but the entire day. After check in we got the hotel free pass , as per great Austrian custom, to all of busses, ski lifts, historic locations and festivities in the area.

    Accommodation was really beautiful, in calmy and safe place, full of good spirit. I warmly recommend this place for those, who long to ski in Obertauern oder in Grossneck, The ski-bus station is situated 300m far from the house, next to the main road. That means 5minutes by foot or 10minutes by foot with skiboots. There is shop with opening time till 19:00hrs. That was great, you can manage all stuff after the skiing. We also appreciated the fireplace which we used during the dark cold evenings.

    The apartment is new and very big. Equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and private spa with sauna! The design is modern and of good taste. The location is very convenient in the middle of Lungau. Supermarket in the vicinity. This apartment has a great potential, it just needs some small improvements.

    The hotel is lovely, nicely situated either for walks in the charming Mautendorf or for skiing (15 min drive to Obertauern). The hotel has three different saunas and everything is clean. There is enough parking spots, it offers even carports. The breakfast is good, and the room very spacious.

    Very nice hotel on excellent location with extreme friendly staff! We had to leave really early in the morning. They provided us with a take away bag full with sandwiches, drinks, bars, fruit etc. We also had a very good dinner the night we arrived! Worth a stop-over!
