this is the kind of hostel you DREAM of before starting your backpacking trip. 10/10!!! one of THE BEST places i’ve ever stayed. i’m leaving a piece of my heart here! i instantly felt at home here. the place is clean, new, and beautifully designed. the kitchen is super well-equipped (yes, even a blender!), and everything feels fresh but warm. the staff are amazing — so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. what makes this place special is the vibe. it’s more than a hostel — it’s a community. it’s located in a local filipino neighborhood, and you can truly feel part of it. after a few days, the neighborhood kids call you by name. it’s not about staying in a place — it’s about belonging. there’s the perfect balance between social and solo. you can join dinners, chats, rooftop sunsets, but also enjoy your own space without pressure. the energy is just right. they pay attention to little things — like fresh flowers on the table — and it makes all the difference. i’ve met incredible people here, shared meals, deep talks, and so many laughs. most people end up extending their stay — and i totally get it. i would stay forever if i could

Had a short but sweet stay at Lawi Haven! Perfectly situated in the heart of Burgos, the beach is just a few steps away! Rooms are very well designed and thought of! You can see that they really had the comfort of their guests in mind :) You can always see the staff maintaining the cleanliness and order of the place!
