A regal and well updated hotel with a great breakfast, good room size and lovely shared spaces. We appreciated the shuttle service into the town centre as it would have added up taxying in both ways.

FAQs about hotels in Thessaloniki

Special Beauty and Culture

Situated in the region of Central Macedonia, Thessaloniki is the 2nd largest city in Greece and a precious cultural center. Built near the sea, this modern metropolis used to be the crossroads between east and west, and houses some of the most amazing Byzantine and Ottoman monuments.

This lively city is full of large avenues, green squares, stunning Neo-Classical buildings and stylish shops. The White Tower of Thessaloniki is an imposing landmark on the waterfront and is the symbol of the city - a reminder of old times.

Visit sophisticated Thessaloniki, and you will have the chance to meet some of the most important Greek artists and musicians. The city has also an energetic nightlife featuring a number of clubs, bars or "bouzoukia".

Famous for the traditional taverns, restaurants and "ouzeries", the Ladadika neighborhood is the old Jewish quarter, filled with picturesque narrow streets. It's an ideal place to try some famous Macedonian specialities like bougatsa, souvlaki, and the delicious 'Panorama triangles'.

Thessaloniki International Airport is located about 9 miles away from the city center, and is the second busiest airport in Greece. Booking.com has a large selection of hotels, apartments and guest houses throughout the city.

I really enjoyed Thessaloniki — the food was incredible (...

I really enjoyed Thessaloniki — the food was incredible (from tavernas to bougatsa for breakfast), the lively waterfront and café culture gave the city such a vibrant feel, and the mix of history with the White Tower, Rotunda, and old churches made it unique. People were friendly and welcoming, and it felt authentic compared to more touristy places in Greece. On the other hand, traffic and parking were stressful, buses could be confusing and slow, and in summer the heat made walking around a challenge. Some parts of the city weren’t as clean or well-kept as I expected, and the noise in the center could get overwhelming. Overall, though, Thessaloniki left a strong impression — full of character, great food, and a lively atmosphere.

Thessaloniki is a city where history and modern life blend...

Thessaloniki is a city where history and modern life blend naturally. The sea promenade is perfect for a walk, lined with cafés, street musicians, and people enjoying the view. It’s lively and artistic, yet it still keeps the charm of its old oriental character in its narrow streets, markets, and hidden courtyards. Roman ruins stand alongside busy roads, a reminder of the city’s long past. While the main sights are worth seeing, Thessaloniki truly shines when you wander off the beaten path, discovering small taverns, local shops, and corners full of stories.

We needed to stay one extra night in Thessaloniki, and this hotel was the perfect choice—right in the city center and close to everything. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary breakfast upgrade, which was delicious and kept us full for the day ahead. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Our room was cozy and clean, with a handwritten welcome note that added a thoughtful personal touch. Highly recommended!

They look just like in the photos provided by the property. - The shower has massage nozzles for the back - that's a nice choice. - Excellent cleaning services. - Very polite and helpful staff. - Good location. - The price was not that expensive considering the location of the hotel and the 5 stars it has.

The hotel itself is really close to city center ( ~ 10 min walking distance ). The parking is underground right on the same street (not included in the price). The hotel staff were really friendly. The rooms are well kept and offer everything needed. The breakfast was also very nice and it's cooked on the spot. If I'm ever in Thessaloniki again, I'll most likely visit the same hotel
