The weather is excellent.
The weather is excellent. It is also close to many attractions. There are some wonderful cafes and restaurants. However, the city is overcrowded which causes some frustration. The roads are narrow and walking on the streets is a bit risky. I personally believe that there is nothing to see in the city.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

For those reading this, your research should make you aware of the following. Bali is small and cramped with narrow roads and heavy traffic which moves at a snail's pace. If you are comfortable on a scooter, you can rent one. We opted to sit the traffic out by hiring a car and driver. You can negotiate a little with the drivers and everyone (ie. hotel staff) knows someone with an airconditioned vehicle who you can hire directly. In my humble opinion, Kuta is the better bet. Seminyak and Nusa Dua are too pricey for what is still Bali. Ubud is much too far from the ocean so ensure you are ready for a 30-45 min drive to get to the beach. If you are willing to walk a little, you can find everything you need in Kuta. Decent food and other shopping. Currency exchange places. An upmarket mall (with globally recognised brands) and a local mall with local brands. Kuta also has most of the fast-food franchises we would recognise (all the burger, chicken, pizza, and coffee places).Guest review byYeoshaanSouth Africa - 8.0

I’ve travelled to Bali a lot over the years but have never stayed in Canggu. It has really top quality restaurants, shops and spas. But I wouldn’t be rushing back the traffic was a terrible and getting Around took so long to get anywhere. The trip to the airport took 2 1/2 hours which was approximately 17 klm from where I was staying and not in peak hour!!!Guest review bysally thomasAustralia - 10.0

I loved the shopping, lots of fun bartering, friendly vibe, great cafe's restaurants and bars. Beautiful beach....day beds and umbrellas to lounge under. Close to other places like Legien and Kuta. Lots of taxies and gojek bikes to take you where ever you wanted to go at a very affordable price. The weather and accommodation is marvellous. I would recommend Seminyak as a perfect place to stay.Guest review byTammyAustralia - 10.0

Uluwatu is awesome but very busy now compared to other years. We loved the location of our villa, very central yet so quiet for how busy it is in Padang Padang. Easy to get around. Villa was beautiful we didn't want to leave! Could have done with a tv for quiet night in that's about it. The ladies at the office are lovely but quite pushy with payments when you book things and communication sometimes a bit mixed up. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay :)Guest review byJennaNew Zealand - 8.0

Sanur is much quieter than Legian/Kuta, same shopping available. Great warungs for good food, Icon Mall food hall is great, lovely airconditioned shopping mall for a break from the heat. A bit of roadworks fixing footpaths going on in main road.Guest review byKathryn - 8.0

Nusa Penida is overly crowded by Tourist especially the Kelingking Beach. The roads going to tourist attractions are like off roads. The travel from Sanur to Nusa Penida was scary for me because of the big waves.Guest review byGenalynUnited States - 10.0

Highly recommend Nusa Lembongan if you looking for somewhere a little quieter and away from the hustle and bustle. There were plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and food available for every palette.Guest review byCliveAustralia - 4.0
Basically just a resort neighborhood for people to spend...
Basically just a resort neighborhood for people to spend their miles and points at all the usual hotel chains. The neighborhood is almost all resort pricing unless you go and mingle in the slum-like conditions that the local construction workers are living in. Almost all of the activities and attractions outside of the resorts are very suspicious, often feeling like tourist trap scams. I would only stay here again if someone were inviting me to some convention hosted here and they were putting me up in the resort hotel.Guest review byKoJapan - 10.0
Needed a place to sleep for 2 nights.
Needed a place to sleep for 2 nights. I was by myself and was out 7am to midnight every day. The hotel was perfect for that. Neat, clean, modern. Has all amenities like in-room tea/coffee, hot shower, great shower pressure, clean comfy beds, properly working AC etc etc. The room would be small for 2 people but for one person it was perfect. I took a room with twin beds so I could leave my suitcase open on the other bed. Staff are very helpful. Great location. I asked for a room that did not face the road and it was very quiet.Guest review byAyeshaIndia
