Very comfortable room, large and airy. Excellent bathroom and shower. Location across the promenade from the beach was great. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Food was disappointing; all the hot dishes were cold every mealtime to the point of being inedible. Cold food ok but limited. It is off season so hopefully it will be much improved later on. No bar open in the hotel as far as we could find, probably again due to being off season I assume.

Everything was amazing! Vicent and Martin were betting nice accommodating us to our comfort. The views form the superior room were amazing and the landscaping was breathtaking. Also the restaurant Alhambra was very good with Paola and Fran as our servers were very kind.

We visited in December 2024. The location and view from the window was incredible! A couple minutes of walk and you were on the beach. The rooms were really spacious, beds comfy and the wifi and tv good for streaming :) We appreciated having access to a gym and indoor swimming pool - the outdoor area looked also great, it just wasn't the season. The hotel was quiet and rooms were a great value, but this was one of the lulls of the season - I think it can get quite expensive in the summer!

Staff were super helpful and very friendly. Luggage storage was available. Great view from terrace on roof. Bus stop was just a couple of blocks away. Not far from the beach, but downhill with a lot of steps so choose appropriate footwear. The room was clean and spacious.

    Beautiful and charming city with one of the best beach on...

    Beautiful and charming city with one of the best beach on Costa Blanca. If you want a relaxing place, strategically placed between top spots Benidorm and Alicante, then Villajoyosa is your best option. We choose Villajoyosa for the same reasons and we were happy here. Cheap trains to Alicante and Benidorm, good supermarkets around, like Mercadona, beautiful weather and just good sea water. We had only 4 nights there, too short to explore the entire area, as we decided to split our holiday in two, with the other half in Torremolinos. One usefull information about this two holiday destination: in far south of Spain the sea water is much colder then in Valencian Community, as the Atlantic Ocean directly affect it. Personally i found no difference between the cold water in Torremolinos and Northen Sea waters in Netherlands.

    Perfect if you are looking for a beach stay in a nice village with quiet surroundings. Not too busy but must book a table at the more popular restaurants. The old town is very cozy, recommend staying at the beach front. Few restaurants open for breakfast. Airport shuttle must be booked 48 hours in advance.

    Villajoyosa is a very pretty town with lovely colourful houses. It is a very friendly town. The beach stretches the full length of the town and is sandy and there is lots to do. There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants particularly Montes Gastro cafe. The Valor chocolate factory tour is worth a visit.

    Very flat on the front for walking but side streets up hill climb. Fantastic beach, toilet facilities. Outdoor eateries for food and drinks most places only open 12 till 4 and we were here in June. We found 3 places open at night one open till 10pm the others closed at 8. Maybe more places open in the new town but we didnt go there. Food prices very reasonable you could get fixed menu 3 course including a drink for €20 euros each. Lovely relaxing place will definately visit again although stay in an apartment so more flexibility with food.

    It is a very beautiful traditional Spanish resort.

    It is a very beautiful traditional Spanish resort. Fantastic beach with lovely promenade. The old town is very attractive with excellent restaurants. The port area also very interesting with good seafood restaurants. Lots of great walks and if you like chocolate the Valor Chocolate museum and factory is a must.

    A traditional Spanish resort, at the moment not over commercialised! Most of the 'locals' make you welcome. Plenty of small tapas bars in the town and good restaurants on the seafront. Beautiful safe family friendly beach. Bit of a climb from the beach up to the town, one day they may get the escalator to work! Good tram link to Alicante and Benidorm if you wanted a day there!

    We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and we were extremely impressed with the hotel / staff and facilities. We had rooms over looking the beach and pool area, I requested them all together which was great. We loved having our breakfast outside on the terrace everyday The staff were extremely helpful and gave me a late check out on y last day and even let me keep my things in a locker and use the spa shower after I had checked out. The location is perfect for the beach and Old town.

    location is perfect, right in front of the beach. We visited Villajoyosa many times so are familiar with the location. This authentic apartment is on the 3rd floor which means 3 stairs to climb, also the bedroom has stairs to climb so keep that in mind Do not expect a 5 star apartment, these authentic houses are all small and old. However all you need for your stay is there, the reason to pick this apartment is the beautiful view at the beach and sea. The host Matteo is top.

    Cannot rate this venue highly enough. The apartment was outstanding and fantastic value for money. It's a 5-10 minute walk along the beach to the centre of Villajoyosa, it has a lovely small pool, a bar and a quiet atmosphere. The staff were great, extremely helpful, available 24 hours hours a day and unobtrusive.

    A real genuine gem of a home in Villajoyosa, allowing us to live and to chat with the locals living on the same street a minute from the beach! Well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook a little at home. Super helpful host also who was very responsive and offered great recommendations.

    This is a very good value for money. Happyvila Apartments in Villajoyosa turned out to be a superb location, right on a beautiful beach, in a fantastic old house from the 19th Centrury. Couldn't have be any better. The Happivila staff was friendly and very helpful. Great days there.
