We (3 adults) stayed in 1 of the 9 cabins. The cabin was clean, spacious, "no-frills", but really comfortable. The location is wonderful and we have no complaints.

Flateyri Guesthouse is a modern home in an old Icelandic house, beautifully appointed, with very comfortable beds, a great kitchen, and cozy living areas upstairs and down. There are many excellent books and games, hard to put down! Stephanie, our host, made us feel at home. We had a great time!

We had a pretty cool view and the room was very clean and comfortable. We did not have access to ice or a fridge, so we ended up buying a bag of ice at the Kronan grocery store. All around, the room was excellent, clean, and comfortable. Staff was also very helpful, especially with the slightly different check-in process.

Great location and very clean. Almost has a hostel feel. It was a good thing we decided to just take our daypacks with our clothes for the next day to the room as anything more could not be accommodated.,

It's a small fishing village on the edge of the fjord.

It's a small fishing village on the edge of the fjord. Travelling through the tunnel to get there was an experience. The town is beautiful and the rich and vibrant fishing industry is interesting.
