I really loved this place. It was a little odd at first. We arrived about 11pm and the street was packed with lots of happy people for the Friday night Swing Dance on the top floor of the building. I needed a place to park, someone pulled out. Good. But, where to go? The sign is small. The entrance is tight. And we saw that the 4th floor had bowling! But, we reached the manager, and she and another woman came to help us unload our car from a very long day drive. After we got a tutorial on how the elevator is private for the lodging guests, we went up to the room. It was so cute. And in the morning I checked out other rooms and it seems each is different. They are all decorated in an awesome way.

The city has earned international famed through the Indianapolis 500, the highlight of the IndyCar racing season held at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The track also hosts the NASCAR Brickyard 400, while the Indiana capital’s NFL team wow the crowds at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The food spots were good. Downtown is pretty nice. It's ridiculously humid during the summer and the roads are AWFUL - need to be fixed immediately, everywhere! Overall, I don't like Indianapolis and would never live there given a choice.

My favorite spot was a breakfast joint called love handles.. I would definitely drive 3 hrs to go eat there again . Getting around is easy just watch out when entering down town there are a few small streets and on a Friday night it gets packed. Your better off walking.

My daughter and I went for the Oddities and Curiosities Convention. It was amazing. Highly, highly recommended. Checked out Crown Hill Cemetary also. Wow. That place is something else. I can't even describe it. A must see. One thing that really stood out with Indy thou. They DO NOT take care of their roads. I hit more then a dozen potholes (on the highways!!) that I was terrified I popped a tire. It was crazy a couple of times. My kid and I played a game to see who could spot the biggest one in the hour.

We hardly encountered any activity over the weekend in the downtown area. Apart from canal walk and visiting the museum, there is not much to visit in our opinion. We definitely did not feel this was a happening place! Would have struggled if we had stayed for more than 1 day.

Absolutely smashed it. Fantastic staff at the front desk and throughout. Beautiful rooms with enormous comfy beds. Whole place was spotless. Shower had a lovely adjustable head so was very plesant to use. The location so close to the centre of town was brilliant too, we were working at the convention centre so it was a breeze to get to and from there every day form the Hampton. Would defintely encourage anyone going to Indianapolis to use this hotel. Top drawer accomodation at a customer friendly price!
