The air-conditioned room was fabulous during this week that was much warmer than usual. My room was sound-proof - I heard no one talking or other loud noises. Staff was super helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I had the best wurst plate ever - the Engel Wurst. I got it with Rösti. Wow!

Honestly from start to finish our stay was excellent! We had questions months before our trip and the staff was very helpful and quick to respond. We stayed for two nights which I would recommend to anyone. It's historical and at the top of Mt Pilatus so its the only thing up there other than trails. You can only reach the hotel via cogwheel or gondola. We took the gondola up and cogwheel down, recommend to do both. Staff is superb and they all spoiled us as they spoke English. Not only did we have breakfast but we also had a 4 course dinner included. There were several menu options, I am pescatarian but often eat vegan and I had choices. The facility is very dog friendly which we LOVED. The mountain can get crowded during the day as hikers and tourists come up to visit. Many people I spoke with didn't even know you could stay up there. When the day tourists leave for the evening it is so peaceful. I haven't spoken about the views, all I can tell you is I teared up several different times with the pure beauty that was surrounding us. We were Blessed to have two good days where we could see. Obviously there is no guarantee with weather. There are a few webcams on their site which I recommend. Not a huge hiker but I did do the Dragon Trail (not scary!), another one that is a short climb up where you can watch the sunset but it was behind clouds that day and the last one that I'm not sure of the name but may be the Flower Trail (?). I know it eventually went to the church. You do take these trails at your own risk but the views are spectacular if you are one up for that adventure. There is not place here but I did video part of my hike that I will share a link to via google photos for anyone interested or curious. Have attached a few photos that I hope will help. We have recommended to several of our friends and I will tell you what I told them....GO, just do it and stay. It is well worth it! Hike link: https://photos.app.goo.

    The closest one where I stayed for work is the Culinarium Alpinum where I require to walk to the office. Also, there is no uber or any local app for cab to be there within the city ride. However, the buses and trains are well connected as the timings alone required to be known well in advance before you travel for the day as the nearest hill for food is Sarnen and nearest station is Stans and from there, you could travel to Lucern or stop trains through hops for Zurich.

    The location of Stans is perfect, being away from the crowds...

    The location of Stans is perfect, being away from the crowds of Lucerne yet 15 minutes by rail. The station is the main stop for all trains on the line between Lucerne and Engelburgh. The Tell Pass is the most convenient way to travel all around the area.

    We decided to base ourselves out of the city and could not have picked a better location and hotel. 20 min by train to lucern and we had a cable car up the mountain across the road. Stans has lovely feel with plenty of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here.

    They had given me different apartment which is not having...

    They had given me different apartment which is not having kitchen, I don't know why and when I asked them they told me you have not requested for kitchen. But the images shown are with kitchen, when asked on that they again told, the images shown are of all apartments. The wifi not working, it works only on entry door as it's of the outside restaurant. Flooring is very bad. Not worth to stay.

    We planned to visit Lucerne and Grindlewald and settled on Stans for a hotel location. We didn't spend really any time in Stans - it was such a small town, but we were happy we stayed here versus Lucerne as we were burnt our from staying in the center of large cities and simply wanted some quiet and less chaos. Stans has great scenery and is easy to connect to the motorways. Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus are minutes away and easy to get to.

    Location is very nice, walkable to Stans Railway station, Luzern is just 15 mins away from this Station. Room size is good. Kitchen had induction hot plate, all 4 plates worked, we cooked food and enjoyed. Kitchen had glass, 1 cup, 3 tawa, Fridge, ovan, storage, spoons, forks. Bathroom was good with shower. Windows had good air flow. beds were nice.

    It was great to have communal space for my family, along with a balcony. We were able to find space to relax together or be apart, which was great after 2 weeks of hotel living. We were grateful for the fridge and freezer, we could eat at home and on our own time. We also enjoyed listening to the cow bells while relaxing on the balcony!
