Lovely hotel and too much trouble. In the breakfast, the food was lovely with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. Parking on the street was easy to manage. Good activities for the kids throughout the day and in the evening. Pool was maintained well.

    Love the place. Been going for around 20+yrs. It's very casual, friendly and so easy to navigate. It feels like a second home and the businesses all cater for English speakers which makes it very easy to come back to. I will always come back here....

    We stayed at hotel Lava, just 10 minutes from airport, it was an absolute haven from the hustle and bustle you meet in Puerto del Carmen. I would recommend getting taxi and dining at the harbour, you can then walk into the main strip of Puerto del Carmen for a browse. Another day should be spent at the shopping centre where there is an open air cinema, it was really enjoyable again you could ealk into Puerto de Carmen for more excellent shopping. The irish pubs are excellent with live music a real treat, also if you walk down the beech walk from hotel lava, turn right walk for about 10 mins you will find a lovely out door restaurant where you can have a lovely lunch and enjoy a really fabulous view. There was so much to do, I could return and have a completely different holiday the next time. Hotel Lava is like entering an oasis, the breakfast is excellent, the facilities excellent, and the mattress superb, air conditioning works like a dream especially as it was in mid thirtys some days when we were there. We spoke to people in apartments who had no air conditioning, so no matter where you stay ensure to ask about AC and ensure it is not just fans in the ceiling as you will need it and it will make it a more enjoyable stay if you are comfortable. Enjoy this beautiful location, I didn't know what to expect but it literally blew me away with its beauty and people. Bon Voyage!

    We go to Puerto del Carmen every year. Its great for family, a mixture of all ages , great bars restaurants, water parks for the kids there is plenty to do, would highly recommend, taxi available and cheap if you need to get one, we can wait to go back

    Plenty of restaurants, bars and music for all tastes and genres. Taxis are cheap and readily available. The promenade is long and well maintained. The Old Town is less busy than the promenade area and has many Irish Bars. It is also much more hilly than the promenade.

    The apartment was the best surprise we had in our trip to Lanzarote. Adrian's property is truly a hidden gem. Position is ideal, frontline in the beautiful marina of Puerto del Carmen, close to some good restaurants and also to shops and hypermarkets. The quality of the apartment finishes and the attention to the details is really amaizing, from the natural stone to the top quality matresses. However the most impressive is the human quality of the host. We are looking forward to return as soon as possible!

    I never do these reviews but felt like we had such a good and bad experience i thought i would leave an honest opinion. We have been staying at these apartments every year we visit Lanzarote for the past 12 years. Can never fault the apartments itself except when it comes to trying to get a sunbed in the morning. People are like scavengers running and racing as soon as the chain is removed at 9.30am

    - it was our second stay at ilunion puerto del carmen this year. We solved all issues quickly and got best experience there. - room, pools(25celsius), nice locality, near bus, parking available, room terrace, beach 5 minutes walk. - puerto del carmen playas are best place to stay with kids on Lanzarote. Other good option are playa blanca with playa dorada or playa del salado at la gracioza.

    This self catering appt is a set of small apartments. It's a much better place to get a good nights sleep than an hotel for example, Also has fridge freezer, cooker, and a shop maybe 200m down the road. Good WiFi.
