The beach is unfortubately far from what is depicted in fotos. The beach itself (water, sand) is fine, but the terrible view once inside the water as you look into half constructed building & similar, kill any joy. Nice peaceful and quite village in the north of Koh Phangan with an intact local community. Two Seven Elevens and some local supermarkets as well as a drug store, diving centers and several nice restaurants are located in Chaloklum. Taxi boat services to the beaches of Haad Kkom, Bottle beach or Thong Nai Pan are offered at the pier or near Viva Pizzeria.Guest review byAndreasGermany

It was a delight to have the family children on site who were all cute, fun and well behaved. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything in Chaloklum village including a range of restaurants and local shops. It’s also on the same street as the Sunday market which is a significant regular event. Of course the hotel is beach front so easy access to the beautiful crystal clear waters and powder white sand. If you are looking for a relaxed and more quiet place on Koh Phangan. This is for you. We visited in low season but Chaloklum still feels alive since it is a fishermans village with a local community. Restaurants as neighbours, a new super market, sunday market, rentals and everything you need. The host is great and helpful. The other one is across the street, quite small but with a great view on the bay. Immediate beach access from there. Very nice sandy beach, although some boats are towed there. Very close to the restaurants in Chaloklum. For breakfast, consider World's End closeby as the resort does not offer any breakfast. Bungalows are clean and nicely prepared.
