The lady was super friendly. The food was all fresh and home made. The cabins were clean and got cleaned every day. The private beach was walkable and the nights were stuper quiet! We booked 5 nights in Nuqui,but told the lady that we would like to change our stay and go to Termales. She offered her spot in termales. So the next day we had a boat to Termales. We didnt have to pay anything extra. The stay in Termales isnt finished yet. So we were without electricity and we were the only guests. But it has a lot of potential. It is a very quiet and beautiful place. I would definitely recommend it.

Very close to the airport (within walking distance), beach, and center of town. This is a good rest stop if you need a place to stay for a night before going on to other remotes parts within the surrounding area. Very Helpful staff - I forgot my shoes at checkout and they contacted me after I had already left to find out where I was, and then went out of their way to deliver them by bike.

Petra Hotel was a simple hotel that fulfilled our needs for a 1 night stay in Nuqui before flying out the next morning. Luis was very kind and helpful and allowed us to check in very early at 9AM after our ferry arrived in Nuqui. The hotel is also a 4 minute walk from the airport, and across the street is a breakfast place which sells arepas. There are also a few restaurants on the same street, including one that surprisingly made an amazing fried chicken sandwich (called a hamburger on their menu). We also really enjoyed our time in Nuqui, despite not reading a lot about it online from other travelers. The town has a good amount of dining options and also has many places to buy groceries/toiletries compared to other towns in the Choco area. We LOVED going to Museo Melele which shares about ancestral knowledge and did a kayaking tour in nearby Tribuga, which is a 1.5 hour walk along the beach from Nuqui or 10 minute tuktuk ride.
