Very friendly staff. Nice clean room. Quiet location near to the historical city center. We got parking place for our bike inside the courtyard. Good breakfast Good starting point for visiting different tourist attractions like Cancale, San Malo or Mont Sant Michel. Dinan itself is very charming town with a small port on the river.

Great location! Just right opposite the Dinan Chateau, and it takes only 5-7 mins to walk to town center to see everything else. There is a parking at the hotel but the space is a bit tight. The room is clean, comfortable for two person, and well decorated. Bathroom is clean and has everything we need. There is no air conditioner in our room, but luckily the weather is not very hot at night during our stay. Just open the window a little bit and it is fine. Breakfast is good. They also include some local produce in the breakfast line which is nice. The staff are lovely and helpful. There is also a tiny elevator at the hotel which is great. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dinan and this region.

We did not stay in the main hotel, but instead opted to stay in one of the separate buildings, a restored grocery warehouse, a few blocks closer to the center of town. Either location is convenient to the attractions of the upper town. As with most any lodging that is located in the center of a centuries old city, logistics can be challenging, but are not insuperable. We found the location to be convenient to all the landmarks in the upper town and to restaurants and shopping. There are almost no places to stay in the lower town, and parking down there is near impossible, so you should be ready to undertake the walk down and back from the upper town. We would return again, this time giving the main hotel a try.

We got the family room, and to our surprise, the room had 2 floors with each floor its own bathroom. Nice and spacious and very nice for a family of 5. Clean and staff was always very nice and helpful.

    We only stopped for one night on the way to SW Brittany.

    We only stopped for one night on the way to SW Brittany. We should have stayed longer as Dinan looked interesting. On our way out we managed to visit the ancient Abbey of Leon, just outside Dinan, which is definitely worth a visit if you like old architecture and history.

    Dinan is a beautiful town, particularly the old walled-city part (of course), and its location on the Rance is fantastic. By all means be sure to take at least a short walk along the river (though be prepared for a steep walk back up into the town!).

    A very good experience.

    A very good experience. Splendid old town with many interesting buildings, nice art shops, interesting castle and churches. Very helpful lady at the information office. Parking was convenient, about €15 per day.

    Dinan is a lovely town with lots to do nice restaurants lots of history and nice walks the bus and train service from St Malo is good and lots of little villages to explore if you have a car take a trip to Dinan you won’t regret it, I’ve been many times and it’s one of my favorite places to go.

    We based ourselves in Dinan to spend a few days with friends in the area, we could not have chosen a better place. Dinan is so full of character, history, and friendly locals would gladly help when we got a little lost despite our broken french.

    great walks along the canal traffic free very nice walking to the little village of lahon plenty of restaurants along the canal so very easy going for the less mobile . very easy to get to by car as we are from Guernsey ewe travel by ferry to the lovely saint Malo and then 20mins drive to Dinan . as our hotel is acutely in a place called Lanvally just down from Dinan the hill is for the young at heart butt can be done or just take the car up . there is a Market on a Thursday a must to go to

    Nice and recently renovated hotel in the port of Dinan with a wonderful outdoor pool (with heated warer) and jacuzzi. Please note that the port area is another center of Dinan in addition to the old town area, which are equally nice. It is also worth to stay in the port area as it is also full of good restaurants. The hotel has a spacious and accessible free private parking lot, where it was easy to park even with a minivan.

    The property was perfectly located just outside of Dinan and super easy to find. Our hostess was gracious and very helpful, and the breakfast has been the best we have had in any B&B in France to date. The room was clean, with a lovely outlook over the forest, and quiet and private.

    This is a 15th century guesthouse and has been a real highlight of our France trip. The owners are very friendly and provide an all-round great experience. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect as right in the middle of the old city.

    The hotel is owned and run by a young couple who could not be more helpful. They are friendly, attentive and maintain the hotel to a high standard of cleanliness. Very good value for money and located a short walk from the centre of Dinan. Highly recommended.
