From the initial greeting at the door, you get the sense that Mondrian is different. Our room was spotless, comfortable and had a fabulous view. But it was the staff at the front door, the front counter, the bar, the breakfast buffet and the gym that was uniformly marvelous. We are easy travelers and don't require a lot but each one of our interactions with staff was wonderful because they were uniformly bright, smiling and eager to assist. Mondrian gets extra points because we had an incredible view of Hong Kong Island and we had a shower, that with the lights off at night, gave you an incredible 180 degree view of both sides of the bay. We loved our stay and, next time, I will be back with my wife.
