This is a wonderful hotel! we were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us 😃. Being next to the beach 🏖️ made every day feel like a vacation, with easy access to sun and sea. The drinks were delicious and the variety was fantastic, perfect for relaxing by the water. From breakfast to dinner, the food was outstanding, offering something new and exciting at every meal 😋. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway! The staff were lovely.The bungalow was well appointed, with a well stocked mini bar & tea and coffee. The breakfast options were good. I loved the fact they were eco conscious with no single use plastics.. They used metal or cardboard straws in the drinks and refillable water in the room and a water cooler where you could refill your bottles.. The location was fantastic and you can snorkel right from the beach and see turtles. We loved it here and wanted to stay longer.

Very nice property located in the heart of Gili Air, you can go to various places across the island by foot pretty easily! The staff and the owner are really nice and accommodating and will help for any questions or request you have 👍 The breakfast is also very enjoyable (especially the pancakes!). Last but not least, the small cat Coco is so cute, take nice care of her!

    Nice location, the only point is the amount of stones in the beach. A bit annoying, but beautiful place. Harbour is a mess. They are never in time, sometimes local government just cancel the fast boat so you are under risk of losing any other part of your trip planning cause the one that they offer to replace take 8 hours to arrive in Bali.

    Gili Air is so beautiful.

    Gili Air is so beautiful. It was such a relaxing way to vacation. Everything is within walking/biking distance. The people are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Gili Air as a vacation destination!

    A dusty beach town undergoing rapid development that has absolutely nothing to do with the local culture or architectural style. The beaches in the area are long, wild, surf-pounded beaches, as opposed to gentle, inviting beaches. Most were covered in litter and on some the sea was a soup of plastic. If you're into surfing and working out (and then strutting around showing off your abs and tattoos) and drinking matcha lattes, you might love it here. I found it pretentious, unfriendly and as a non-surfer, there was nothing much to do

    Stayed at tne katamaran hotel, stunning hotel with great food and provided a restful quiet break in stunning surroundings. Both restaurants on site provided great food. The spa was also gorgeous. The entire stay was heavenly! Alu at tne senggigi ferry port organised an amazing day snorkelling at three of the Gili islands. Paradise!

    The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. But if you want peace and quiet and to enjoy the sea, Gili Meno is the perfect choice.

    The local family who manage Green Haven Homestay are so...

    The local family who manage Green Haven Homestay are so welcoming and friendly. They will do almost anything to cater for travellers, for example I am 68 and wouldn’t have been able to do the 6 km walking tour up and down hills and uneven surfaces so they organised a motorbike tour which was great. The tour of the villages was also good and very interesting and informative to see the local market, pottery being made, textile weaving and bamboo weaving. There was a good variety of food and the family dinner was wonderful, so much delicious local food. The accommodation was suitable in a peaceful environment. I really enjoyed my stay.

    This is the most beautiful and scenic beach in the area! Great for beginner surfing lessons - for all ages (lots of kids as well!) Not so great for swimming due to the waves and abundance of surfers but one can certainly take a dip to cool off. Great walking beach where one can get away from the beach loungers, surfers and warungs for some solitude. Lots of great little warungs for cheap eats with a great laid-back vibe. The power of the crashing waves was absolutely mesmerizing and the sunsets were stunning!! Absolutely loved this beach. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well.

    Was exhausted after Mt.

    Was exhausted after Mt. Rinjani climb and this impacted on my exploration of the wider area, which I would've liked to have done more of. Also despite being officially the 'dry season', the weather was often overcast and rainy. I think had things been slightly different and I had had more time, the experience would have been better.. But still a lovely place that has less tourists than other parts of Indonesia.

    Sekotong is not overurn with tourists and all the associated businesses that come with that. Hence it's very quiet for the most. The down side of this is that you always need transport if you want to get to any other facilities or shops, whether that be a car and driver or a motor scooter. Sekotong is also close to the more south western Gilis, which makes for a very quiet visit for snorkelling etc. This is not a party town type of place - so if that's what you are seeking, better go to the more established areas.

    Gili T has lots of potential, but at the moment it feels a bit overcrowded and overexplored. Things are a bit dirty and messy outside the beach clubs. Access inside the land is poor. Boat access is a bit chaotic.
