Everything was excellent! Gorgeous views of the lake! Breakfast was always delicious. Dinner also fabulous. Extremely well run boutique hotel. Marco and Gaia were so lovely and made us feel well cared for. Would definitely return.

Hotel Erika is perfectly situated to enjoying restaurants, shopping, and enjoying the lake. There is parking (for a fee and needs reservation) that was easy to access, so we could use our car during our stay. The breakfast was amazing- served in a beautifully decorated room with many selections including freshly cooked eggs and fresh squeezed juice. Most of all, Erika is simply the best host. She is so lovely and kind, and she truly cares about each guest in her hotel.

Everything was exceptional. The staff very very friendly. The location is perfect, right at the lake, with parking. The rooms were so clean, unbelievable. The breakfast exceptional, variety, freshness, delicious. Christina and Monica very very good hosts. Also good restaurant nearby. They had also a bar at the hotel, cozy and handy.

    Malcesine is a great little village and Hotel Malcesine had some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Be aware that the gondolier to Monte Baldo is incredibly inefficient and you can spend over an hour waiting to get onto the gondolier and even more getting back Having said that I would absolutely recommend going up Baldo for the breathtaking views. But take a book!

    Awesome place to visit - lots of charming streets and lovely bars and restaurants and quaint shops. It quitens down on an evening when day visitors go home ! Castle worth a visit views from Tower are awesome / too many lovely restaurants and coffee shops to name ! Loved swimming in lake past the castle ! Visited Monty balding last time so didn’t do this time but fab trip if visiting!

    Malcesine is a busy town spread down the east side of the lake. It has a frequent bus service which is not expensive and easier than trying to find somewhere to park! There is a wide range of hotel accommodation to suit most budgets. The beaches are pebbly, but the water is very clear so great for swimming or just cooling off. There are plenty of places to eat, again to suit most budgets and tastes. This was our second visit to the area and we will certainly return.

    My second time visiting Malcesine, the best place to be if you're wanting a town with a buzz and plenty of activities. I've been twice solo but having been the second time round I would definitely recommend travelling with another person/group here, I felt that groups tended to stick to themselves.

    Malcesine is great place to stay on Lake Garda.

    Malcesine is great place to stay on Lake Garda. The old town area is full of places to visit including a fabulous castle. Lake ferries come and go all day and give visitors the opportunity to explore other towns around the lake. There are dozens of restaurants, bars and shops to explore and ice cream lovers are well catered for. The cable car ride up to Mont Baldo is a must with fantastic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Cobbled streets require sensible comfy footwear.

    What a beautiful spot!

    What a beautiful spot! We stayed in the old town, lake, shops & restaurants are a short stroll away. Always a bit of a hill to climb on cobbled streets which may be an issue for some. It is so picturesque and relaxing, no loud noise at night. The only negative we had was the price of parking, we had flown into Bergamo so needed the car to get there, next time we would use Verona airport and use public transport.

    The hotel is located on a hill about a 10-minute walk from the center of Malcesine. It's quiet and secluded yet still close to the center, which suited us well. The breakfast served was good and there was something for everyone. There is a nice pool which we used. The staff were very friendly and spoke German and English as well as Italian. They always greeted us with a smile. The rooms and common areas were perfectly clean at all times.

    The hotel and gardens were beautiful, with a stunning view of the lake from our room (junior suite). The staff were friendly and the whole vibe of the hotel was very relaxing. Malcesine is a short walk away along the lake front and a great place to explore Lake Garda.
