Our room was in the first level. Although there were some noises from the street, closing the window eliminated all of them. The room's facilities and equipment were fine for even more than a one-week trip, as we did. Polite and friendly staff was the other positive point. This modest little hotel offers great rates and easy accessibility to the Paris Metro. There are shops and restaurants nearby, so it's easy to pick up what you need to have breakfast "at home". We also bought groceries to make sandwiches while we were out and about - all you need is a baguette, some cheese, and maybe a tomato! You'll need something to wrap it in - the kitchenette has all the basics, but not that! There's a lovely gift shop on Rue de Paris, right around the corner to the left that has all kinds of artisan items - and very good prices! Pre-arrival check-in and payment requirements were annoying. They charge you through a separate system rather than booking.com, which requires a working phone for 3D confirmation. I had to pay for my phone that day in addition to the foreign transaction fee to my bank in the US. Also, what is the point of asking for an ID before arrival if you ask it again on arrival? It is completely falsely advertised. This is not an apartment with terrace, it is an apartment share with your grandparents. I can't think of much on their advert that is true except there is a bed. If travelling here by Eurostar take tubs 5 from Guard du Nord and change at Relublique for Line 11. Reception staff were magnificent. So helpful. Plenty of towels and very comfy beds with excellent showers. Sufficient cutlery and working microwave. Pre Christmas break so Paris was even more superb. It was quick and easy to get to the city on the Metro and there were also shops and restaurants close by.
