It's nice there is a beach and boardwalk with food and rides and games. I wouldn't go too far from hotels and resorts there are certain sections in Atlantic City, that aren't so, nice and you have to be careful and aware of your surroundings but, for the most part it's a pleasant experience for family. Enough to do for a fun-filled week including shopping at the outlets, historical visit at the museums on the end of the boardwalk plenty to see and do. Wildwood is a great place to go with friends or with family. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. The Boardwalk is fun and it goes on and on and on. Be sure to bring sunscreen and shade (umbrella or canopy). Beach is clean and people are friendly. Family-friendly area good for all ages. We recommend is Bristol Plaza Motel. The Bristol has fun activities for kids and adults each day or evening of the week. A visit to the Aquarium on Boardwalk is a must see! Seaside Heights is a good place for families.
Seaside Heights is a good place for families. The boardwalks and beaches are clean and safe. There is a beach where dogs can go, south of the boardwalk. It's not that far of a drive and we're glad our puppy could go. Recommend getting up early to catch the sunrise.Guest review byJennifer - 10.0

Would have appreciated information regarding the local area, there was none. My favorite spot was lunch at the local Jasmine Restaurant. The service and food were excellent; the staff was outstanding. The location was good for our two day conference at Seaview Resort. We ate breakfast at the local Denny's as we were leaving town. We found ourselves Sunday morning's departure involved a dead car battery. Very pleased to find Auto Zone (?) shop open about a half a block away. Staff was very courteous, thoughtful, and most helpful. Their staff, especially Chuck Gallagher, were excellent.Guest review byPowell - 4.0

The town and beach were clean and well kept with good restaurant options. We spent one day at the beach, but didn't go back because of the cost to get onto the beach. I live in CA, and couldn't believe that Point Pleasant Beach charges $14 per person, to enter the beach. The food was decent in the restaurants that we visited, but nothing to write home about. Ocean ocean city is a lovely little beach town. We thoroughly enjoyed being there. We loved the eateries and the boardwalk. We didn’t know about the jitney until the last day. I lived here for up to a decade and moved. I return as often as possible: access to bodies of water, my favorite park is Kennedy Park, easy access to Cape May and Ocean City.
