First of all, the location is perfect. It’s a short walk from the train station and a short walk from the town, including breakfast cafes, pubs, and the history museum. But the MacLean Guest House is also absolutely lovely and the staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Our beds were comfy, the shower and towels great, the room large, and they thought of everything one might need and more. A perfect stay.

Easy to get to from the train and bus station. Not far from Ben Nevis visitor center. The owner was kind and lent his hiking poles for us which was very helpful hiking up. Breakfast was not included but available for a reasonable price.

Good location for drivers and backpackers. I liked that the beds were allocated by the hostel. This way you don't have to think about "marking" the bed yours if you're staying for longer. Small dorms (4 beds in mine) and a shower room in the dorm.

Very welcoming feel, looked beautiful on the outside, rustic and quirky on the inside. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Rooms were clean, welcoming and had all the welcoming amenities for a good hotel at good value. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good water pressure for a cracking shower and a nice hot bath.
