Too much litter (resulting in too many rats and cockroaches)...
Too much litter (resulting in too many rats and cockroaches). Too much vandalism. Too many homeless people and beggars. Not enough done to showcase the things that tourists would like to see such as fountains and statues (many were covered up as though they were being worked on or renovated). Naples generally appears very neglected. However, a more affordable base for visiting Pompei, Amalfi, Positano & Sorrento by train. In saying that, the train is always PACKED with people so more trains would be better and they are not very fast ☹️Guest review byKirstyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Sorrento is an excellent location for a laid back relaxing break. It is also the gateway to the rest of the Amalfi Coast. We spent time walking around the centre, took a food tour, visited Capri and did a private tour of the rest of the Amalfi Coast. There is plenty to see and do. 5 days was about right for us.Guest review byHelenAustralia - 10.0
Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe.
Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe. Beaches are so nice, water is beautiful and the people are wonderful. So many restaurants, stores and activities to do. Some of what we enjoyed was La Mortella Gardens, Negombo Thermal Spa, Argoneae Castle (being bathing suits and swim right in front of the castle; make sure to read the sign about the secret that this swimming area offers- so cool). Book a boat day with West Coast Ischia - best day of our trip. Wish we stayed longer! BookGuest review bySamanthaUnited States - 10.0
Lovely little town with very good restaurants.
Lovely little town with very good restaurants. Everyone seems to be nice and friendly in this place. We were on foot and enjoyed walking everywhere. Easy to take the Ferry to go to discover Amalfi and Ravello. We felt safe everywhere and many people speak English. A perfect place to relax and take in the culture with little streets everywhere. One never knows where he is going to end up! On foot walking along the seashore is a real pleasure! Easy to get to Salerno from Rome by train.Guest review byMicheleCanada - 10.0
Do your ground work.
Do your ground work. Prices are good, if you match the currency. If not look for the local delis. A little hard to find but great food. The whole place looks old and run down but inside the shops are impeccableGuest review byRosarioAustralia - 8.0
The center of Capri is mostly shopping.
The center of Capri is mostly shopping. We went for a long walk. We enjoyed areas of the island away from the center of town. As soon as we walked away from the tourist shopping, we had the place to ourselves. We saw almost no one. That was a pleasant surprise. We also took the bus to Anacapri. I liked Anacapri better than Capri. Anacapri felt a little more authentic than Capri. I am glad I went to Capri but I don't feel a need to go again.Guest review byKristine2017United States - 8.0

Amalfi is a small and charming town with beautiful architecture and a lovely atmosphere. However, since it’s the central town of the entire Amalfi Coast, it tends to get very crowded — which unfortunately takes away some of its charm. That said, it’s still worth a visit, especially to admire its history and beauty. But I highly recommend exploring the nearby towns as well — like Positano, Atrani, Maiori, Minori, and others — each of them has its own unique character and is often much more peaceful and authentic.Guest review byLiza ManijaLatvia - 10.0
Great views, scenery and nature.
Great views, scenery and nature. A bit tiring due to the stairs. Your hotel's location is important, mine was very well located. Not far from the beaches but still with a very nice view. I recommend the restaurant Donna Rosa, very nice food and elegant place for dinners.Guest review byGAMZEGÜLTurkey - 8.0
Caserta is a pleasant ordinary town.
Caserta is a pleasant ordinary town. The Royal Palce is jaw dropping and it is a 8E return train ride from Naples. With a car, there are many fantastic Roman sites and a spectacular coastline within 30k. The town has quite a number of excellent Pizza restaurants, all competitively priced.Guest review bypaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The city is medium and what I don't like but this looks to be Italian style, they close the shops/stores to early ( about 20:30 ) ; for me a place on the sea cost acting like this is unusual !Guest review byPANTEA
