Location was the best. Very attractive newer home with large apartment sized accommodations for 4 people below. Within walking distance to the main drag along Marine Drive where the lovely sandy beach, promenade, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, etc are. Our place was situated just far enough that you didn’t hear traffic, noise people make when having fun. Lovely patio & lawn with lawn furniture where you can enjoy looking at the ocean & sunsets. Accommodations are the best, if you complain about this property, nothing will please you. 2 good sized bedrooms with lots of space to hang & put your clothes away in, one king sized & one queen. One bathroom with bath/ shower combined, long vanity, plus a stackable washer & dryer. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a dinner, stove & fridge along with dishwasher for cleaning up. Living room area has a large tv on the wall, extremely large leather sofa & 2 smaller chairs. Comfortable room to sprawl out in after a fun day scouting around the area, This place is comfortable, very attractive decor and we found it spotless. Hostess was wonderful to work with. When I come back I will definitely try to rent this property again. Wanted to mention, this property is less than 10 minute drive to Crescent Beach. It has a lovely long & wide walking path along the ocean, where you can see Vancouver across the water. It’s been a hidden gem for a long time, but has now been discovered by people visiting.

Spotlessly clean with a private entrance and a well-designed layout. Parking was easy, the space had everything we needed, and it was very quiet. Great location—just a short distance from White Rock Beach. And the host was very responsive and nice.

The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. It was very quiet so it was a nice break from the noisy city where we live. It's very close to the ocean, but a very steep climb if you're going to walk. There's a small flat screen TV with Amazon Prime. Harry picked some nice roses from the garden, and stocked the room with two bananas and two granola bars. The coffee maker comes with ground coffee, and there's a kettle with tea coffee, sugar cubes and french vanilla creamers. Bathroom is very clean, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, and clean towels

    Very nice community with friendly people. Ate at wonderful Japanese restaurant, shopped in very well equipped supermarket. Seems like a very nice alternative in BC to the mega-city of Vancouver for those interested in a quieter life.

    White Rock has a lovely promenade along the ocean with an attractive pier to walk out on. There is an interesting museum as well as several shops and restaurants along the prom. People are friendly, there are good shops and restaurants in the area and there is excellent public transport.

    The place used to be a delight, but is now over built with high rises so has lost much of its charm. However, the beach front remains as it was years ago with lovely bars to hang out and look at the views. If you are visiting the Vancouver area and want a little less "urban", this is a good choice.

    Great & unique restaurants in close proximity. The beach side walking path was beautiful. The Ocean Promenade Hotel was luxurious, spacious, clean, with beautiful ocean views. It is right along the beach and had excellent customer service. Already planning to return.

    I have Family in White Rock and know the area well (...

    I have Family in White Rock and know the area well (unfortunately I was visiting for a memorial service which is why I did not stay with them on this occasion ).There are lovely walks down on promenade and pier and a good selection of restaurants there also.In Summer there are usually outdoor concerts at beach especially around Canada Day.I did not hire a car and White Rock is very easy to get to by public transport from Vancouver Airport plus getting to Vancouver itself is easy on public transport.The Semiahmoo Mall has a supermarket and several independent shops,the clothes stores tend to cater for older age group.Morgan Crossing which is easy to get to by bus has more varied selection of shops.White Rock is a pleasant seaside town to stay in for a few days or a week.

    Parking is limited.

    Parking is limited. We had to park on the street the first night as most spots were taken. The spots open were a very tight squeeze, so I opted to park in the street. The gentleman at the front did credit me for parking for the one night.

    The place was perfect for what I needed. The house was really clean and in a great neighbourhood close to everything. For the price of this booking it was exactly what I was hoping for. Check in and check out was so easy and the host was wonderful. If I ever come back to white rock area I would stay here again and I would highly recommend this place.

    Wonderful suite -- everything immaculate, great attention to detail, very clean. Across the street, very good service minibus, going to waterfront as well as centre of White Rock, where one can transfer to a bus to Vancouver skytrain. Although a bit hilly, great neighbourhood to explore on foot, with views of the water. Great find !
