Amazing location close to the harbour to take the boat to Gili islands. We checked in almost 3am in the morning because our flight got delayed and they were very comprehensive about it, Excelent breakfast, the owner is so helpful and kind. amazing rooms for only one or 2 nights. We thought we might need a night to stop over before getting the boat onto the Gili islands but in hindsight we could have done it all in the same day. There is not much happening here so I do not recommend staying long, there are some nice cafes to chill at if you are here. There appears to be some diving schools if that is what you are looking for. Convenient for our purpose as a link to the Gilis and Lombok...most people were in transit to these destinations as Padang Bai is a ferry port.
