We stayed in Nea Chora with the apartment right on the beacghfront which was ideal for a 20 minute walk to the Old Town. Buses there thogh were few and far between and we didn't seem to crack their routes or schedules. Taxis (when you could get one) were relatively cheap and we found everyone polite and helpful and the area not swarming with foreign tourist. We heard mainly Greek everywhere.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Great island.
Great island. Beautiful and great for clubs and beach walking. However. Very expensive and the drivers charge either 40 or 50 euros even if you go 1 mile. Basically fixed fee. No other options. They will squeeze your budget there. Kind of an indirect tourist fee. But the people are very nice and all speak great English. But it’s a money pit. Be careful.Guest review byHamidUnited States - 2.0
Noisy dirty and totally tourist trap.
Noisy dirty and totally tourist trap. What used to be a charming and cultural rich town has sold its soul to mass tourism. There is rubbish everywhere, plenty of shops that ONLY sell touristic items. There’s nothing authentic left here. Even restaurants are horrible and serve mediocre food. Compared to the rest of the island this place is not worth not even 10 minutes of your time.Guest review byAlessandraItaly - 10.0

It's an amazing trip experience that combines both the sea side stuff and the full comfort of a city. You can find small beaches along the shore, and a large embankment right across the venetian port that is perfect for evening walks (it has approx.. 2,4 km in length). There are also a lot of restaurants and bars you can hop into. I would dearly recommend Peskesi, Petousis, Sir Papafigos, Parasties for food, Take five or Toucan Skybar for drinks, but there are a lot more that are waiting to be discovered. Also the museums are a must, and of course the nearby site of Knossos. Another close by attraction you shouldn't miss is the Cretaquarium.Guest review byConstantinRomania - 10.0

Fira is a great place to stay in Santorini if you don’t have a car and it’s very central. From Fira you can get the local buses at a very cheap price to move around the Island and go to Oia and the beaches, it also has a cable car that you can go with it down to the old port of Fira. Fira has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and great views with beautiful sunset. Hotels are more affordable to get than Oia.Guest review byReyhanehUganda - 8.0
We stayed for a week in Corfu town.
We stayed for a week in Corfu town. Great base for seeing the island. We took a trip to sarande , another trip to Paxos/anti paxos , hired a car and went to 2 beaches in the west of the island. Visited other sights in the old town and enjoyed the markets/restaurants/shopping .Guest review byEstherIreland - 10.0
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site.
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.Guest review byBandeleUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We enjoyed visiting St.
We enjoyed visiting St. George (Agios Georgios) Beach, which has shallow waters for young children Also, the Temple of Apollo was very nearby and has some amazing views. Our favourite part was taking a walk to the Castle (Kastro) in the Old Town . It's beautiful narrow cobbled streets with quaint shops along the way lead you to the breathtaking views when you reach the top. Remember to take a moment to absorb the views from this height. It's worth every moment. There are also boat trips you can take from the harbour - with day trips to Santorini or Mykonos daily.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people.
The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people. Everywhere we went we met kind, friendly and generous people. Everything in Kos town is within walking distance from the beach to the old town. Numerous restaurants cater for every need from a simple Gyros to exceptional seafood dishes.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Rethymno is a vibrant small town, with scenic remnants of a multicultural past and a bunch of restaurants with plenty of choices. Although I do not enjoy much going to the beach, a great one could be found in the east of the city. The fortress is a must go, as are the old town and the mini (yet quite inclusive) archaeological museum, that manages to summarize key aspects of the town's history. For the well informed and culturally aware visitor, exploring and discovering signs and relics indicative of a multiplexed past comprising of ottoman, venician and byzantine remnants (set the ancient greek ones apart), more or less obvious, can be absolutely fascinating. I really enjoyed walking in the old town and the fortress, discovering the mosques, finding old ottoman inscriptions on marble and stone and chilling in the municipal garden (a hidden gem, away from the noisy, overstimulating, tourist-packed old town). For somebody that wants to chill out, eat and drink, there are also plenty of choices.Guest review byNikistratos
