Convenient walk from the airport. The location is nestled into a small neighborhood right near the airport. Despite this the facilities were very clean, the staff friendly, and the koi pond in the center of the common area was beautiful. If you like no frills and low cost, this is definitely a great spot

It was great value and across the road from Phuket Airport. Rooms were quiet while we were there but sometimes you could hear doors closing so it may get noisy in busier times. It is so close to the airport you can watch the planes take off. It was next door to a fantastic homestyle restaurant.

I booked two nights prior to flying out after six weeks of mostly island hopping in Thailand. What caught my eye was the price listed for those two nights. I mean how bad could it be? So I booked and upon arrival my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find it was pretty nice. Nothing fancy just basic furniture in a clean room. The staff were excellent. When our ride to the airport didn’t show up one of the staff drove us there at no cost. Wow.

The hotel does not look too new but the room where we stayed was so new, bed sheets and towels were very white and smelled good. Loved the breakfast buffet. 10 min walk from the airport 10 min walk to Nai Yang beach and national park. 7-11 next door Nai Yang cafe next door.

    A very pleasant stay there without the noise and holiday trend that patong beach has. if you want a nice getaway this is the place to be I will go back again one day the airport is only 6 minutes by Bolt taxi and cost 120bht there are some nice eating places there to.

    From our experience its a great place to relax before...

    From our experience its a great place to relax before heading home and handy that it is close to the airport. Although the beach wasn't as nice as when were had previously been in Feb a few years ago, I think this is the main thing we like about it plus all the restaurants on the beach.

    It is one of the very few places on the island that isn't over developed, however this won't last long. Not a place for people seeking late night entertainment, very much a family location as evidenced by the number of Vlad's army visitors. An excellent and extensive west facing beach. So if looking for a low impact and quiet holiday this is a very convenient place to come. It's barely 10 minutes from the airport and that can be a major benefit on an island with a crowded and under-developed road system.

    Noisy and crowded in peak season When tide was out has to walk a long way to get to deeper water for swimming. Sometimes struggled to find a sun bed Fantastic restaurants along the strip, spoilt for choice Lovely sunsets

    We stayed here just before leaving Thailand. It is great because it is not as busy as the other beaches in Thailand but it still has some restaurants and markets. Also a bit further at the beach near the airport you can see the airplanes flying over you when they land!

    Nai Yang is a great little beach with one main street that is very navigable. It was our first Phuket beach and the last during our Phuket trip. A great place to start and finish. It has a small beach vibe, friendly locals, night market, and overall has everything you need. You would think it would be more "stepped on" because it is so close to the airport. However, it's one of the cleanest ones we visited on the Island.

    We had to checkout of our Kata resort at 11am and return flight wasn’t departing till 10:30pm. This hotel was absolutely perfect to spend a few hours swimming and relaxing by the pool, and the gardens are beautifully maintained, the price was worth every cent…the best departure lounge in Phuket! Staff were friendly and the free airport transfer was an easy 2 minute drive. Would happily spend a night here.

    The Slate is awesome. It is situated only 10 minutes by car from Phuket airport. We travel with the small child (4 months) and our room was comfortably situated on first floor, so close to the main restaurant and swimming pool. The design of the hotel is magnificent. The territory is very green and shady. The public beach — long and clean — only 5 minutes away from the hotel. The breakfasts are to die for.
