The breakfast was very good. Room I booked did not work for us it was not handicapped acceptable (which I thought I asked for) so worker did accommodate us with the room we needed. Room was good but sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Lady at front desk was very very nice and helpful.

    The Hampton Inn and Suites was isolated enough to seem like we were the only ones on the island. But not too isolating because restaurants and other stores were close by. Food choices were great and the taste of the food was also wonderful! We ate at Corridor Z and Millet’s Low Country Boil. The short drive to Driftwood Beach was well worth it!!!

    The island is basically our most favorite vacation spot for short visits. We enjoyed being able to ride bicycles on the trails and especially on the beach from the pier to Driftwood Beach at low tide. The Dolphon tour was really great this time; the dolphins really performed well for us. My wife has been going to Jekyll since her teenage years, over 50 years now. We will continue to visit. I wouldn't consideer ourselves among the younger couples any longer.

    My favorite place to hang out and we have been coming here for many years. There’s no shortage of activities. It gets a bit crowded during the high season but that’s to be expected. The main attraction is, of course, the peace and tranquility of the beaches and the charming historic district. There’s no better place to watch a sunrise or sunset.

    Loved St.

    Loved St. Andrew’s Beach on Jekyll Island, Horse Back Riding, treasure hunting on the beach, Sunrise Grill and the historic district. The Island is unique and surrounded by the beauty of mother nature around every corner. Stayed in a central location so bike riding was a perfect option for travel. The beaches get crowded on holidays so go early to find a spot and summer was overcrowded because of holiday travelers.

    $10 parking daily permits add up. If you book and pay for a place to stay, a parking permit shouldn't be required. There were lots of nice picnic areas and fishing was great.. accessing the beach with carts and wheel chairs can be a challenge..

    It is a lovely place with history and a chance to relax with stunning views of the Atlantic. We particularly enjoyed the trolley tour from MOSAIC into the historic area, including a stop at the Hollybourne Cottage. On another day we visited the spectacular Driftwood Beach.

    What’s not to love? The room had a beautiful beach view. The room itself was very nice as well. The people working there go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It’s close to the turtle center and driftwood beach. The backyard of the hotel has an amazing view over the ocean and in the evening you can sit round the fireplace. We will definitely come back when we have the chance.

    Did not like reservation or cancellation system at hotel… were booked before Hurricane Idalia struck. Our stay was supposed to be 8/31 thru 9/4. Could not travel from Florida to Georgia because we were advised to stay off the roads. Never received Discover CREDIT for cancelled hotel days. Will reach out to my local TV station who handle complaints. Hope to get some TV time.

    The overall hotel location was great! My family and I enjoyed the town and nearby shops. Most places were of walkable distance or a very short car ride (5-10 min.). The hotel breakfast was nice. You offered plenty of choices. My husband and I enjoyed the waffles and breakfast sandwiches. My son enjoyed the muffins. I think he ate 6 total while we were there.
