After reaching Silchar, I was shocked to see the pathetic urban infrastructure of the town which was further deteriorated due to muddy streets, open drains, broken and potholed roads, flooded roads with drain water. Overall, anything that turns living in a town into hell. Silchar is the dirtiest town of Northeast and the third dirtiest town of India as per an old article of 2019, link shared below.
