We are travelling very often all over the world and never in our life we meet a person as Jeoanne, the owner of the apartment. She took care about us more than our mother, helping every need we had. She provide a taxi driver who showed us Mahe Island .Hubert was the best taxi driver in the world.

There is not a lot of signposts for tourists to know where walking trails start. You need to research it yourself and when you get to the start of the trail there is a sign but no arrow to tell you where to actually walk!

We like long beach walks; we had a plenty of it in Bel Ombre...
We like long beach walks; we had a plenty of it in Bel Ombre. We like seafood; a lot of small nice places to have it. I would avoid going to La Plage which is located on the beach - very untasty, very unpleasant service. All other place were quite good. And, once again - our stay there - for 3 days - was too short; we could spend there much more!

Bel Ombre is a good place to stay and still be close to Beau Vallon beach, but you must have a car as public buses are not allowed for tourists due to Corona restrictions. Top attraction is the Anse Major trail.

The staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming to fullfil any request - to be honest I've been to many countries and many places, but never have I stayed at a place that has this kind staff working there. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Had a grand terrace overlooking the ocean and the garden which was a gem on its own. If we're ever to visit Seychelles again - and I hope we're back soon - we'll definitely come to Beach Cottages to stay!TamasHungary

We were served fresh fruits and drinks without asking for it. We were incouraged to pick fruit from the garden. Every time we wanted to cook, there was someone to help us. We even got a fred ride to our next accomodation. At any time of the day, we got help if needed and felt really welcome. Cleaning every day. Location excellent - close to Beau Vallon beach and with a car we managed to see all the beatiful beaches of Mahe in one week. The grocery store 100m from the appartment is a great advantage. Really fantastic from the start to the finish. Late checkout wasnt problem at all.

The hotel is NOT having a beach, but they bring you and pick you up, once a day to the beach at the town. Super service. They give you towers for the beach and new towers for the pool. You don’t need to pack your own towers. The pool is small, but incredible view. Breakfast is served and you get enough. It is great, like the dinner. Great fish dishes.
