Been coming to Merimbula since I was very young. Was great to finally bring my young family! Absolutely love the food and beaches but mostly the people! Everyone is lovely and smiling. Great place to bring younger kiddos too for the safe beach/bay. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed Mid February, just after the School Holidays ended, so the crowds would have been reduced. Still, there was a great "vibe" to the town, beaches, and surrounds. Merimbula was a great starting point to travel up & down the coast visiting other locales, such as Eden, Tathra, and the numerous beaches/parks/lakes along the Sapphire Coast.

Merimbula was suprisingly busy for a country town and traffic was at a standstill in the main downtown area at times. I don't know if this was normal for this time of the year (February). We did a number of day trips to surrounding areas such as Eden, Boydtown, Candelo and Tathra. We had hoped to visit Kameruka but it was closed to the public. Local seafood was good and the oysters, in particular, were delicious.

The room was very clean and comfy.
The room was very clean and comfy. Parking was smooth and easy, right in front of the room. I especially enjoyed the large bathroom and the back veranda. The aircon was also good. Wifi didn't work so well.
Merimbula is a great place for staying and relaxing. The beach boardwalk is beautiful. Nice shopping, restaurants, and cafes. We had a lovely breakfast at MorMors Cafe. The "Top Fun" amusement centre was also a great experience.

Victoria, it was not as busy as what we thought. I enjoyed doing a lot of walks especially the boardwalk trail. Easy to find your way around town.
The Oysters are really fresh. try their oyster factories. don't fall for the $8 per dozen advert though. apparently they are real small oysters. ((probably shouldn't even be harvested). the $20/dozen are a good size.
Try the Wheelers ( Pambula) restaurant. decent food.
A wonderfully and respectfully restored property with beautiful sunrise views over Merimbula. The owner Casper, took the time to show us around and talk us through his restoration. We had the breakfast in the main hall which was great value and had THE BEST CROISSANTS ever, freshly baked and served warm. The little touches were not unnoticed. Boutique teas, coffee in the room, quality toiletries etc
Location was handy - could even walk between hotel and airport (only 2 km)! easy access to beach/lake/town/walks.
we were upgraded from 1 bedroom unit to 3 bedroom townhouse which was more than we needed but the added space was much appreciated.
Hotel has tennis/lap and casual pool/bbqs/car parking, units fully equipped.
Would be great for larger groups either in share or separate bookings.
Location is excellent. Cant be beathen
WIFI is terrible in bedrooms in fact poor everywhere except lounge.
apartment is nice but you have to clean it before you leave as opposed to a hotel room or motel room where they have cleaners
I like that there is a one way street through the Beach Cabins Merimbula. It meant it was safe for the kids to walk around because cars were easy to see. Everything was easily accessible and the location is fantastic.
Loved all the communal facilities available - Indoor and outdoor pool, BBQ Facilities, Tennis Court. Within walking distance of beach, lake and Merimbula main street. Good showers. Large TV. Full size fridge.
Location! Fishpen is the best area to stay in Merimbula.
Comfy with all the facilities you need for a stay with your four legged family.
Very well equipped kitchen and the entire apartment was very clean .
Clean, comfortable lounge and bed, wonderful facilities and position in the fishpen area, extremely helpful staff, has a washing/dryer machine, dishwasher. Lovely linen and efficient hot water system
Perfect location view excellent views of the township and Merimbula waterways. Staff were excellent and loved the bar / lounge area. Pool was in an awesome spot. Will return next time for sure.
Great location as it was close to two very good beaches, eateries, by the water walks. Great host and well maintained apartments. Great Value for money. Our kids loved it too.
Loved the decor and space, light, bright and spacious with views of the ocean. Merimbula beach across the road. Loved the sound of the waves from the great sized balcony.
A great spot to relax with a great view overlooking Middle Beach. Close by walks around the beaches and lookouts, a short drive into Merimbula for shopping.
