Beautiful beach with clear water and soft sand. Lots of shade options along the sand, and surrounded by many incredible shops and restaurants. Quieter alternative to Patong beach, and within a short taxi ride if you still want to experience patong without being right in the overwhelming action. It was our first time in Phuket and we were initially unsure whether to book accommodation in patong, Karon or Kata beaches, but we were so satisfied with Karon. Along Karon beach, great icecream at Garang Artisan, and great food at sweet chilli restaurant. Heard great things about sabaijai too!! We were also advised to avoid walking around between 11-2 in late april as this is the hottest time. Lots of tour options for phi phi islands from karong, and only a short trip from other major attractions like the big Buddha, ethical elephant sanctuaries and old Phuket town.Lauren - 6.0Scored 6.0

I love the food vendors nearby, and fresh air. Beware I saw a green snake but it didnt beat me it run away from me. It is a small one with slender body. It was around the area where the trees are planted.

Pool and beach location were perfect for us. Long walks on the beach, and chilling at the pool. Breakfast was fantastic and the restaurants were also very good. Centre is reachable by foot. Very safe to walk to the centre also. Well done, for all the staff. You feel they are a good team and want to have the customers a good time.
