It was wonderful 👌 We’d love to come back to this gorgeous village, the markets on Sunday were outstanding with lots of clothes, jewellery etc not sure how often they’re on. A pretty lakeside town both on the waterfront and internally. More low key than Stresa and Verbania but plenty of bars and cafes to suit all price ranges. It is a tranquil place with a nice vibe in the evenings and quite a buzzing lido area plus the ability to swim off the lakefront at the other quieter end of town. The town is extremely beautiful and the restaurants are excellent. My only concern is that everything is geared towards the Germans, ie the menus, the choice of wines and we were often spoken to in German by staff untill we informed them that we were English.

Elevator. Inside restaurant with affordable food. Friendly staff. Short distance to supermarked, restaurants and shore line to lago maggiore. Renting a parking space in the garage is recommended. Cannobio is a beautiful italian old town with a overflow of restaurants down at the sea promenade.

The breakfast server didn't speak English, we didn't speak Italian. The chef, who spoke English, came out from the kitchen and got things straightened out. They seemed very eager to make our stay enjoyable.

Location is very good, quiet area so you are not disturbed noise of the center especially during weekends. In the mean while walking distance to the center, it takes you only 10 min.
