Large, comfortable, quiet room. Easy walk to Monet's garden. Grounds exceptionally beautiful and relaxing Staff so service oriented. Breakfast basket at the door each morning was excellent. Restaurant + service resulted in the best gastronomic experience of my entire life (and I lived in NYC, Chicago, LA and traveled the world)!

The location was ideal. We enjoyed our visit to the Musée, Monet's garden and the house. We also loved the baguettes from the local bakery. It was a wonderful village to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary.

It was situated in a charming, “ancien” chateau right on the quaint cobblestone street of Rue Claude Monet. October, and still the lane was filled with flowers! Véronique was an extraordinarily gracious host, offering to pick us up from the train station. We found the accommodations delightful—very cozy and well appointed, everything we needed in this sweet lair above her art studio. It was a 5 minute walk to Claude Monets gardens and home, and a 2 minute walk to the beautiful old church where he and family members were buried. We spent 3 days walking in the picturesque hills above Giverny, through farmland and forests. It was relaxing and quaint and slow-paced, a world away from Paris.

The host, location, everything was absolutely perfect. Elisa could not have been more accommodating & helpful! It is definitely listed among our very favorite places.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes.
A charming village with good restaurants, bakery and cafes. The Museum was interesting and held beautiful artwork of Impressionists. Monet's garden and house were a treat to visit. Our timing was perfect - there was much in bloom and the weather was cooperative. There were hidden monuments - Monet's bust, the monument to him and his family. And the house was beautifully replicated.

Beautiful village, with a sense of peace and quietness despite many tourists. Monets garden is absolutely worth a visit as well as the impressionist museum. We had dinner at the new restaurant “Oscar” at the museum (excellent food at a fair price, definitely recommend it)

This centre was lacking in the overall character of a village. The gardens were the focus. But there was very little opportunity to enjoy the village separate to the gardens as there were no shops to buy local cheese, yes there is a bakery but no partisse. It had character but no sole.

We loved the gardens and house although very busy.
We loved the gardens and house although very busy. Glad we chose the earlier booking option as by the time we left it was mobbed. If we had longer we would have gone to the museum too, however, we were en route south and needed to get going.
Like it even better once we left the pre booked disgusting Les Rouges Gorges and paid for another stay at the idyllic La Dime.

Giverny is quiet and beautiful. Completely walkable.
Giverny is quiet and beautiful. Completely walkable. Try to stay in town for the best experience, but note that there are only a few restaurants open after 6 p.m. We missed out on the combination ticket for Monet's Gardens and the Impressionist Museum, but both were worth the full price, so we didn't mind. There are a few lovely little shops as well, 2 which support the Monet Gardens. And a highlight for me personally was a sweet, older local man who offered me a fresh fig from his garden, and peeled it for me. Delightful!
Great location in the middle of Giverny, just a short walk to Monet's garden. The property is amazing with a very high standard of fittings and equipment, I wish we could have stayed longer to fully appreciate it The hosts went above and beyond, coming out to pick us up when our car broke down on the way there, making sure we had enough to eat following our late arrival, and then arranging a taxi to take us to the railway station the next day
I'm aware in writing this that everyone's taste is not the same. This is a lovely rustic French garden and collection of buildings. The room had a basic kitchen, shower room, two comfy single beds and a lovely setting in the peace and quiet of Giverny. Nearby are places to get an evening meal or lunch .. the price of our room included breakfast, which was a fresh baguette and two croissants hung on the door handle in a cotton bag.
We could not have wished for a better place to spent our visit in Giverny.
The house and the rooms are very beautiful and so nicely decorated. Diana is very nice, friendly and such a perfect hostess.
The breakfast was with the fresh fruit salad, homemade delicious jams, crunchy baguette, croissants, freshly pressed orange juice, … together with the charming table layout a great start into our day.
Highly recommended!
The place is incredibly original (if I was a creative, I would certainly go in Exil to create here). The location is perfect to explore Giverny. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating and things are just very well thought-through: there is an umbrella next to the door, some food if you would like to feed the fishes in the big aquarium. Nothing to complain about really and it is a real gem for staying over.
The location was fabulous for accessing everything in Giverny - Monet’s house and gardens, The Impressionist Museum, coffee shops, restaurants and the village bakery. There was off road parking behind electric gates, the property was easy to find and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and longer.
There is nothing not to like about this Hotel the attention to details is superb and that's all before you sit down and eat the food.
We both agreed it was best meal we have eaten in 30 years together.
Then a wonderful breakfast delivered in a picnic basket.
Highly Recommended
There wasn't a breakfast included and we weren't expecting one. The hostess met us right when she said she would and was very nice. She helped us find a market to shop for some food. The house was very close to Monet's home and gardens.
Beautiful peaceful location beside the church which we found very interesting. Delightful village & visit to Monet’s house & gardens. Nearby restaurants & cafes - everywhere locally easily reached on foot.
Beautiful comfortable and clean B&B a short walk from Monet’s house and gardens. Lovely host who couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. So quiet.
Good breakfast. Highly recommend this property.
The location of the hotel could not be better. It was walking distance to Monet's Home and Garden. The Restaurant was very good with an interesting menu. Breakfast was excellent.
The hosts were extra special and spared no effort to make our stay in Giverny highly memorable. Breakfast was perfect, the room and location couldn't be better. Highly recommended
Beautiful property right near the Monet house/garden. Host is wonderful and super sweet. Would recommend anyone thinking of spending their time in Giverny.
