It was in town so finding food was easy. We have a pet and felt they were accepted. It would be nice if they had a patch of grass for the dog instead of just rocks. the gentleman at the counter was very nice and helpful.

Hilton Vacation Club Sedona Summit, hotel in Sedona

Located in the Sedona Plateau and offering stunning views of the Arizona desert, this property in Sedona offers spacious accommodations with all the comforts of home and relaxing facilities.

The resort itself is very well kept and for the most part so quiet. Every morning you can just hear bird singing which is so delightful. The pools are very nice and well kept. The location is wonderful just two minutes walk from a wonderful park and hiking trail. The resort is about 10-15 minutes car ride away from all the major sites. Overall we were very happy with our choice of staying with the Hilton.

Las Posadas of Sedona, hotel in Sedona

Adjacent to the Sedona Golf Resort and a 30-minute drive from Red Rock State Park, this hotel provides a flat-screen TV and free in-room WiFi.

Pretty adobe-style hotel w/ suites w/ high ceilings, lots of light, attractive furnishings, a huge bathroom (w/ a separate tub and shower), and 2 patios. Friendly staff, easy access, plenty of parking, memorable plants around the property. Excellent location on the edge of Oak Creek (a village of Sedona) w/i walking distance of restaurants (we enjoyed Dellapiane (Argentinian) and a very short drive or a jog to trailheads like Woods Canyon (gorgeous). It helps that this hotel is in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas of the US but it suited its location. We wished we had more time there!

    Beautiful scenery.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of places to go even if you don't go hiking. Lots of art galleries and hand made jewelry; not many places for inexpensive souvenirs, atleast I couldn't find any until we were heading back down south of Sedona.

The scenery of Sedona is stunning.

The scenery of Sedona is stunning. The trailhead parking can be an issue, and we were there during the week. I would not attempt a visit on the weekend as Sedona is extremely popular. There is a Sedona shuttle. We ate dinner one night at Mesa Grill, which was excellent. Reservations are required for dinner at Mesa Grill, even on a week night.

This location is south of Sedona in the smaller community of Village of Oak Creek. Close to many wonderful hikes, walking distance to grocery store and several restaurants yet far from the larger Sedona crowds and traffic. Nearby Ranger Station very well done and helpful.

One or two days is all that is needed if with a family.

One or two days is all that is needed if with a family. The town is too crowded and commercialized so visit Sedona for the nature, the hikes, the vistas. If you do plan in being in town then plan to visit very early on weekends and watch out for traffic, it can be really bad. Also, make dinner reservations well in advance. Food/restaurants are just OK so if you are a foodie lower your expectations.

Beware of ticketing traps on tourists.

Beware of ticketing traps on tourists. Look at Trip Advisor concerning this scam. Always loved Sedona. We parked with other cars on a quiet street where there were no 'no parking' signs. We got a ticket for $125 and cannot possibly go to court to contest it. We live in Washington. We were legally parked and criminalized as is their routine for tourists. One of the restaurants imposed a 24% tip automatically

Amazing views, abundance of trails and activities in the area. However, beware that Sedona is a small town that receives millions of tourists every year, hence driving/parking situation is abysmal. Stay in close proximity to trails and restaurants if you can to avoid driving.

Breakfast was delicious, creative, and served in a beautifully furnished dining room overlooking the red rocks of Sedona. The staff were efficient, friendly,, and were informative about the surrounding countryside. The location was breathtaking. In fact we drove the Sedona scenic loop and concluded the scene from the Penrose terrace was better. Everywhere in the house has huge windows overlooking the view.

we were welcomed with the nicest room in the facilities we think. I liked that the hotel goes the extra mile to add color and southern flair to the rooms. it feels cozy and warm and the corner fireplace was sweet. Wish they had painted and carried on the same colors into the bathroom. its a lovely spot when you travel on a budget and it can definitely compete with the fancier Sedona properties.

Great location in W. Sedona away from the crowds. Expansive views from the property. Can walk to several hiking/biking trails. We stayed in a studio room which is much better than most standard hotel room and had cooking equipment for simple meals. There are a number of pools and hot tubs scattered throughout the properties which weren't crowded at all. Rooms have small balconies.

Marriott rooms never fail to impress. This room was well designed, clean, organized, and smelled fresh. The hello message on large TV was a nice touch. The whole property is wonderful. If Sedona traffic is too much to bear as it has a habit of doing, just relax at this place and take in the views and easy trails.

Preferred this hotel environment to more expensive "resorts" which often are too sterile. Terrific breakfast selections.
