We went to Colorado Springs because it is the base point for all of the close by attractions. We went to the Garden of the gods, multiple times, drove up to Pikes peak, saw the Indian cliff dwellings. We stayed at the Garden of the Gods resort, the resort was awesome.

I love Colorado Springs.
I love Colorado Springs. From now on, instead of flying out of Denver airport, we will stay at the Radisson and fly out of Colorado Springs. Free parking, free shuttle and a small easy airport vs the nightmare of DIA. It is a cabin feel to it but the room we had had a great view of the mountains, golf course, and lake. The breakfast was buffet but again we felt it was excellent value. The hotel is also close to the old Colorado springs and new Colorado spring areas (10 -15 min drive) tucked away in a quiet neighbor hood. The restaurant ‘ Spring Orleans’ was fantastic and great Cajun food and helpful staff. I even treated myself to a spa experience- very nice.
