Really unique property. Easy parking and getting into building and room. Super comfortable bed and pillows with quality sheets. It was convenient to the Steel Yard where I was taking a class and to Federal Hill . I will definitely stay here again.

Parking was good and the room size wasn't bad.

On average, it costs $205 per night to book a 3-star hotel in Providence for tonight. You'll pay around $205 if you choose to stay in a 4-star hotel tonight, while a 5-star hotel in Providence will cost around $208, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
The King Suite was amazing and perfectly set up. It had plenty of space and 2 separate ac/heat units so we were able to keep both rooms at the perfect temps. The shower was great for pressure and hot water settings. The room had 2 big tv’s and living room side had plenty of seats and a great couch as well.
There is a club attached to the hotel with live music which was great and the hotel had a small bar with an amazing Bartender. He was funny and could hold a great conversation with all of us at the bar of all ages. The price for drinks wasn’t too bad either.
Some of the things I didn’t like was the pricey breakfast as they do not have a buffet style you have to order individual items off a menu. It cost us $50 for 2 people to have breakfast and a coffee. Also the pillows on the bed were not that great, they could use an upgrade for the price you pay to stay here.
All in all it was a fun hotel stay and was great to see all the staff smiling and willing to help/answer anyone’s questions. The hotel is run by good people you can tell by the quality of the staff. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip back to RI.

Providence is an amazing art and culture city that has a million things to do, from big museums, a large mall and great restaurants, all the way to small book stores, bars and galleries tucked away everywhere. Plus, it's small and you can experience the city, the beach, the forest, all of Rhode Island quickly and easily. Plus, a great LGBTQ+ scene in a very accepting environment

The trip was great!
The trip was great! A weekend is a nice amount of time to spend. The food is really good, try Nicks on Broadway and sit at the bar to watch the kitchen. The zoo is wonderful, make sure you ask when the elephants will be inside. Gather Glass was another stop to make ornaments, really great group and a fun experience. Would highly recommend Providence for a weekend stay!

Providence is a nice small city with several universities, including Brown, which we went to for a graduation. It is very manageable to walk around, is very proud of its old buildings (many old homes) and protects them with historic preservation status. Many have plaques with names and dates of construction.
It is also near Newport, Wickford, and Jamestown and all the history associated with those port cities and their wealthy patrons.

I hate staying in hotels that are small, old and off the beaten path. The Dean hotel is all those but I loved it. From the original floor to the outstanding attitudes of the workers, I wish I could have stayed longer. They were so helpful in telling me some good places to eat and see. I will surely stay there again the next time I'm in Providence. I can't say enough about this hotel. You have to experience it to know what I'm saying. Make sure you eat at Murphey's pub which is right next door. The house pickles are fantastic and I can't say when I've had better fish and chips. Take the time to walk downtown and see the sights . So much better than driving.
Right in the center of the city - just a short walk from the Amtrak/commuter train station, Kennedy Plaza (central bus station), downtown and the rivers & canals. Plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do. - The Brown U campus s about 15 minutes away, if you are college-shopping or attending a conference.
The staff is universally friendly, helpful and knows the area very well.
Rooms are large, comfy and clean, and with great views of Providence.
Breakfast is available daily from effectively an in-house Starbuck.
Dude!! what an incredible value! that suite should have been 450 to 500 per night. at the Boston Harbor hotel their “Mariner Suite” is absolutely identical and I paid $1100/night. the view kicked your ass but hey your not located on the water. Either way I’m done experimenting with other hotels in PVD. you’ve got my business from this point forward.
Awesome style. grand Hotel. Very impressive. beautiful room great view from the side window. staff was great.
The hotel is in a good location which is nice. You can walk to most restaurants and parking is simple. The $35 a night for parking seems high given the fact that this is PROVIDENCE RI!! Breakfast for free was nice even if it was really bad and poorly stocked.
a five minute walk from Providence rail station and right on the edge of town. it took us 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Water Fire. loved the below ground bar - barman was amazing and seemed to keep everyone smiling, laughing, and with full glasses
I enjoyed the location of this hotel. The hotel's restaurant-bar has very nice drinks. A complementary water bottle is included, as well as a small fridge to use. It is well located, just a block from Providence Place and a walking distance from Downtown
Great location in short walking distance to downtown Providence / large living room and two separate bedrooms / comfortable beds / bathroom is equipped with washing machine and very clean / comfortable self check-in and details are shared on request
Overall, I love the stay at the hotel. The room has a kitchen and is facing Dunkin Donut center. Easy access to downtown. Clean, bright and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and provides scramble eggs, potatoes, sausages.
The location of this property was really great! It’s near Brown university and Thayer street (which has a lot of restaurants and cafes around it). If you like walking around, it’s a 15min walk away from downtown Providence too.
Great view of the harbor. Perfect location next to an awesome brewery and a park across the street right on the water. Tons of restaurants within a few minutes of hotel but far enough away from the super busy downtown area.
Its a charming Hotel.in the heart off downtown Providence close to major shopping and restaurants very convenient! The rooms are what i remember staying in Europe big nice cozy tasteful decor classy
I did not feel safe at this hotel. It was clearly a location being used for transient renters. It was dirty (debris/dirt in corners of the room and under the beds and stained bed linens.
Location is great if you're going for convention. It is directly connected to the Providence Convention Center. It is connected by a bridge to a large shopping mall - Providence place.
I liked the decor and the private rooms as well as the size of the room. The location was very close to downtown Providence and had a 711, Dunkin, McDonald’s, etc for quick grabs.
Great location, close enough to walk around Providence. Quick lifts. Lovely room. Great breakfast options - coffee, juices, waffles, eggs, cereals, fresh fruit.
