Dawn was very hospitable from the moment we arrived , she showed us around and was very thorough . There’s a cat sunny that lives on the property that was an extra bonus for me as I’m a cat person and was missing my own , he was very friendly and cute . The breakfast was a special touch and delicious and Dawn made sure we had a taxi at 5:30 for departure. This was my 1st time ever staying in a bed and breakfast and Dawn made the stay 5 stars!

Lovely country house location, yet close to the Airport. Sitting in the breakfast area and looking out over the fields and trees was lovely.
The staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious and delivered with a wonderful smile.
We enjoyed the courtyard area.

The local road system is a joy and well signposted. Our stay at Oakwood hotel was just lovely and staff were really great, always available and ultra helpful. We very much enjoyed are stay in are accommodation near Shannon Airport, we wasn't expecting it to be so lovely at Carrygerry Country House Hotel. It only took 12 minutes to drive to it from the airport and nicely welcomed at the door by Gillian and shown to are room. Shannon airport, easy to park, easy to get too by car.

We were flying out of Shannon Airport so travelled up from Cork and stayed overnight at Treacys Oakwood Hotel, beautiful hotel with beautiful staff, I cannot fault it at all, we left out cars at the hotel and got a taxi to the airport.. talk about comfort!!. Shannon Airport was our point of entry and departure from Ireland. We stayed only on the night before departure. There is little to do in this town, but we found lovely accommodations to stay close to the airport the night before our flight home at the CarryGary country house. The hotel was close to the airport which is great, the staff were really helpful and polite. When we highlighted the issues the following morning the staff were receptive and agreed fully with our level of dissatisfaction. Patrick was at the desk and handled our complaint and couldn't have been nicer.The manager (Martin) followed up with a call the following day, he accepted full responsibility, made no excuses, and apologised for the negative experience, we received a full refund.

Close to Shannon airport but you feel like you are far away from civilization. While the amenities are not perfect the atmosphere and feeling of being at home is evident. Gillian, the owner is welcoming, kind and accommodating. The dinner was fantastic. The restaurant has won many awards and deserves them. I loved my short stay there and hope to be back someday.

There was a wonderful and homey pub/restaurant only a 50 meter walk from Balally House which, after a 5 hour drive, was an oasis. The breakfast cooked and served by the owner herself was perfect.
