We loved how sweet and accommodating the family was. We were shown around the grounds and offered tours to explore the surrounding area for a good price. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner options were tasty too.

Our stay at Saridevi Ecolodge is an experience we will never forget. Overlooking rice terraces, surrounded by nature and fruitful vegetation. The atmosphere is intimate and the family/host makes you feel like you are one of them from the moment you arrive. There are only a few cottages on property so very minimal other guests and so quiet/peaceful. Everything they make for you is picked directly from their garden on property and prepared for you. With that, their menu is limited and all local cuisine. Absolutely everything they made for us was delicious. Breakfast is a fixed menu. They helped us plan a day trip to do on our own and arranged a scooter for us to take out for the day. Anything we needed, they were there to help us. Highly recommend experiencing a stay with Saridevi Ecolodge.

The owner Adi is the best host ever, he really helped us with getting the most authentic experience and contacted his local friends who also guided us through some activities.
His cooking is also great and gave us fresh fruits from his garden every morning!
Our bungallow was cozy and we enjoyed the outdoor shower!

It was a cozy place nested in the middle of nature, Ibu Nyoman was so accommodating, they prepared a bed for our driver which not so many places do in Bali, we helped her in cooking, we prepared a very comfy family dinner together, set up the table, in the morning the place was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and the toilets were open to the sky and natural, loved everything, above all the cute kitten kept us entertained all night and day.

This was pure harmony looking out over the rice terraces. Harmony of humans, earth and spirit. I loved listening to the sounds of frogs and birds from the lovely wooden porch and cottage. The best for getting away from all the craziness of the world. And it was very cool there too.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.
This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access.
The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc.
The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while.
He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

The region of Jatiluwih is known for the beautiful rice fields. You really have to make a tour through these rice fields by walking. We did the bicycle tour, but without electric bike this is not recommended, because of the very hilly course at the end.
We drunk a cup of nice Balinese coffee and ate a delicious pineapple pancake in the village and we noticed that everyone there is nice, helpful and relaxed. We love this place!

Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat.
Peaceful! Beautiful place for retreat. Plenty of organic fruits to eat. You can laze around and visit places at your own pace. No other mode of transportation than renting a car, though. Would have love to have a local public transport.

Beautiful rice terraces with well-signed walking paths that let you enjoy them thoroughly. There are a number if restaurants with a great view over the rice terraces. I chose the pricier one called Gong Jatiluwih. The food was very nice and the view excellent. The place also has an ATM

Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area.
Outstanding views of very large rice terrace area. Very good walking and cycling on tourist paths around terraces. Could see the well maintained water irrigation systems in action.
Walked up the hill round the corner from the rice terraces to the temple at the top of the villages and then found the trekking path and trekked through the forest to the top of Mount Batakaru that is Bali's second highest mountain.
Area is therefore very good for rice terrace views and mountain trekking.
We loved staying at Dwan Tea and regret not booking more nights. We felt like staying at our uncle or aunts place but with all the great features of a hotel. The staff was soooo nice and we had so many great conversations together. The room was huge, very luxurious and just amazing furniture and super comfy bed. And the pool and the view....wow!!!! It was an amazing night and morning at Dwan and if we come back to Bali we will definitely stay there again!
A beautiful location and a huge room. The ‘garden’ is stunning and the surrounding rice terraces are amazing. Imade and Santi made us feel like family. Fantastic organic food made with ingredients from the garden.
Kadek took us on day trips to waterfalls, lakes, temples and rice terraces. We highly recommend these!
Also, should you need it, the best Wi-Fi we have had in Bali.
Missing the whole place already but we will be back!
Dear Dewi and Pico, we spent a few days with you. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a paradise in Bali. The warmth we found with you was very special (especially with your family). We also had a delicious meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Jadec surprised us with his excursions to the temple and the rice fields. He should definitely continue with this. Tepi Sawah Lodge&Retreat a location to definitely come back to.
We had an amazing time here. Putu and his wife make this place wonderful. We did a great trek with Putu and would deffo recommend it. His wife cooks the best food too! It's a tranquil place within rice fields. If you're looking for a place to relax , unwind and appreciate the natural beauty ... Then don't hesitate and book here! For sure a highlight of our trip in Bali. Ps thank you Putu for your kindness towards us!
This is a very artistic house, with amazing views of the near-by volcanic mountains.
It's a quiet place so bring a book for the sun lounger. The staff prepared an unexpected array of traditional.dishes for dinner which we ate by candle light. They even lit an open fire in the evening. Breakfast was also very nice. We enjoyed their own home grown tea and were given a gift of tea when we left. Very nice people.
The place, it's quite magical with one of the best rice paddies views in Bali, in my opinion. It's close to nature, but not immediately surrounded by forest of trees, thus the open landscape, airy, and bright. Pak Gede the owner is kind, warm, and genuinely extends balinese hospitality to the guests. I ordered dinner cooked by his wife, and the portion was big and tasted good, for that price, it was a real steal.
The location. If you do stay in Jatiluwih, this is off the main road with lovely views.
The staff are friendly enough but limited English and knowledge of the area. They are happy to lend you umbrellas and a torch for the dark road of needed.
I think its overpriced as limited facilities and the stray dogs/cat are an annoyance.
Location is amazing. Room/tent was superb with great views and a good balcony. Food was good and the g&t is the best I've had in quite a while. If you are looking for a different experience in Bali, away from the bars, traffic and hassle of Seminyak/Kuta then book yourself a couple of nights in Sang Giri.
One of the best secret hideout in the island. Lovely, authentic, gracious host. Yummy organic local snacks / desserts. Great team. They are supporting circular economy by introducing local’s crafts & shopping ingredients locally. Heavenly location / spot. Wish all Bali’s hotels have mindset like theirs.
So many things to mention, stunning garden and space, very quiet location with reserved local authentic. Walking distance (ideally with scooter) to jungles, plantations, beautiful rice fields, Jatiluwih…Food in the hotel also very tasty with organic and vegan options.
Absolute magnificent little gem in the middle of lush nature surrounded by the greenest ricefields. View was amazing! Room was amazing! The owner and the staff were amazing! Must stay in Bali, to see the pure raw beautiful nature & culture. I will be back!
Beautiful location, amazing view, wonderful staff.
Property is absolutely amazing. The sounds of frogs at night was magical. The morning sunrise over the rice terraces was super cool.
Very quiet location.
The location is wonderful - a cool mountain paradise near one of Bali’s most beautiful temples. The grounds are lovely and the bungalows charming. Adi, the man who does everything, is great!
This hotel was located right across the street from the rice terraces. I had a room on the 2nd floor and the view was amazing! The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very nice.
