Calgary had everything I needed and nearly everything I...
Calgary had everything I needed and nearly everything I wanted. The city has all the services and products a person could want. Costco, Canadian Tire, Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevy and the dealer I needed, Mazda. I don't really understand flashing green left turn signals, but got through them ok. Fuel was reasonably priced. Having been in remote parts of Alaska and the Yukon for a few months, I wasn't used to the "big city " experience. The city isn't that big, however it does behave like one, in that the speed of life is quicker than I was used to seeing. There is quite a bit of entertainment, movies and theater/theatre; I didn't have time to attend any of these events. Next Trip.Guest review byCharmaine MankeyUnited States - 2.0

There are many other location in the Rocky Mountains nicer than Banff. The three days we stayed there it was crowded of people, very far what we expected in the mountains. All the attractions were crowded, in special the hot tubs. After seen the small pools crowded we refused to go into. Besides, the restaurants have crazy prices. Banff was the worst experience in our 3 weeks in Canada. Of course, we loved the environment, the glaziers, the trip from Jasper to Banff, but we recommend to sleep in Jasper or other locations instead of Banff.Guest review byMarioSpain - 8.0
It is easy to get around Edmonton.
It is easy to get around Edmonton. I took a brief side trip to Edmonton mall. The mall itself is wearing out. It has lost it's appeal for anyone alone and looking for a shopping experience. It is lost in the eighties.Guest review byDonaldCanada - 10.0

Jasper is a great place to visit with lots of activities in around the town. Whilst it was badly affected by the wildfire in 2024 and you obviously still see the effects of this around the area, the town is very much open as are most tourist attractions and we should all support them.Guest review byCraigUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The town was quaint and delightful.
The town was quaint and delightful. Nice walkable small downtown. Lots of places to eat outside (we were there in summer). Lots of walking trails near and around the Bow River that runs right along Canmore. We ate at Murietta's Bar, the Table, and Das Schnitzel --- all wonderful. We hiked the Grassi Lakes Trail and did the Scenic River Nature Float --- also so good. If they can increase their parking places downtown, that would make it great.Guest review bymackbookUnited States - 10.0

Great place to stay with lots to see and do all around the city. Jasper is just an hour away so if your coming to sight see Hinton is a great choice. It's way easier on your pocket book and beautiful .Guest review byKarenCanada - 10.0

As someone who visited Lake Louise in 2007 the experience was different at that time we could drive right up to the hotel and that makes it a difficult for people with disabilities. The lake is still just as beautiful as it was back in 2007 also we felt That it would be a good experience to be able to walk through your fabulous Fairmont hotel, which we were unable to do this time.Guest review byCarlosUnited States - 10.0

It is a small city in a beautiful location along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. It has a long history of producing pottery, bathroom and kitchen porcelain fixtures, as well as high-quality bricks. There are more than 100 kilometres of walking and bike paths along the river and through the hills. The city is a major shopping hub for the area and has all of the big box stores, a thriving light industry, and farm suppliers. It has some ot the best year-round climate in Canada. It is a great city to visit, or to live in, and raise a family.Guest review by1patrickCanada - 10.0

Our family went to Drumheller to see the Royal Tyrell Palaeontology Museum. Once there, we discovered Drumheller's civic pride, multicultural, hard working families and playful acceptance of their claim to fame; there are even raptors on the rooftops! Downtown is charming and has an excellent water park and wading pool where families gather.Guest review byAnonymous
