It is very old and unique. I expected that. Our room was updated and nice. The problem was that the elevator was not working and we were staying on the third floor. We were notified two days before our stay. I expected some compensation for this inconvenience. We are in our seventies and it was quite a job getting our bags up to our room. I would expect that they would have an employee to help us. The one woman carried one of our bags out of six. We had to make a few trips. The parking lot is across the alley and quite a walk carrying luggage. How about a meal from the hotel restaurant or a discount on the room for the inconvenience?

It’s quaint and historical. Dont expect fancy amenities. Loved Steve (hospitality), who was amiable, helpful and an overall pleasure Right in the heart of town. Fun to be in a place with so much history.
