Self-Catering Accommodations in Edgewater

I had an absolutely amazing five night stay at the Hotel Beacon. The hotel is somewhat iconic in NYC and this is reflected in everything one experiences while there; it’s run like a well-oiled machine. Check in smooth, efficient & friendly as were all the staff in the reception area. Extending my reservation was a breeze, with the reservations manager (Dawn) going above & beyond the call of duty to assist in finding me the best rates possible. Even the housekeeping staff were outstanding. The rooms are surprisingly well-sized, well-equipped and offer the added benefit of a little kitchenette which goes such a long way in saving on meals. The views are breath taking! The hotel has the most ideal location being two short blocks away from an express subway station & with a bus stop a half a block away. The upper west side of Manhattan is wonderful in that it has a neighbourhood feel, while also having an endless array of restaurants to choose from, being two blocks from the glorious Central Park & two subway stops from Time Square. I highly recommend Hotel Beacon and wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff for making my stay so memorable.

Room: we LOVED the little kitchenette (with fridge, freezer and microwave) - it makes a tremendous difference to a trip (al those left over restaurant food - NOT going to waste and being able to have hot milk with your first morning coffee). Location: what a PLEASANT SURPRISE, it was even more central than we thought (coming from South Africa and first time in NYC)!!!! This (AND the Room Kitchenette) will make us come back to this hotel over and over again. Breakfast: great system (self serve) and fantastic range - we loved the 'instructions' at the oatmeal station and the beautiful variety of food, fruit, snacks, bread, drinks...I can go on and on! WE ARE FANS!

It was very clean, and the location is perfect. We came to see a concert at the Bergen PAC and it was very close.

The staff were so sweet. Great location!

Proximity to Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Grand Central Station was awesome for the price point we needed. Walkable to all of those sites.

Very cleaned, very quite, and the breakfast very delicious! I will definitely be back.

The apartment is very spacious and clean. Nice location.

The entire B&B Hamilton experience was impressive. Before we arrived, the Hamilton team thoughtfully arranged the details—directions to the address, entry instructions, and the wifi password. On arrival, the space was clean and ready, with all essential tools available, from cookware to bathroom supplies and bedding. The housekeeping staff provided valuable assistance with trash removal and keeping towels fresh and dry. Overall, the stay was comfortable and convenient, feeling like a second home. Thanks and kudos to the Hamilton team—we hope to return. Mabuhay!

The property was clean, the area was good and quiet. But staff was a little rude but other than that book!

I had a fantastic stay here during a trip to New York in December. The location was absolutely perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the city. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance or a short trip away, which made the whole experience incredibly convenient. The accommodation itself was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for a few days in the city. After long days exploring New York in the winter, it was great to come back somewhere warm and relaxing. Overall, it was a great base for a December trip to New York, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and comfortable place to stay. I’d happily stay here again on a future visit.

Very easy and always updated by the property manager.

Very cute, nice and clean and close to transport. Owners were very responsive to messages. Easy to get the bus into NYC. Everything was comfortable.

Incredible place to stay! The hosts were very responsive, polite, and accommodating to my checkin and checkout times. It is a 2 bedroom apartment in a secure building in the Upper West Side, on the ground floor, so that there’s no need to lug suitcases upstairs. There is a fridge, microwave, oven and stove, dishwasher, and clothes washing machine. The bathroom is very nice, there’s a counter, a nice sink and toilet, and the shower is also a tub, so you can soak in a bath if you’d like to. They provide shower products and a hair dryer. The bedrooms are lovely, and have queen beds, so two people can stay in each bed. One bedroom has a desk and chair, the other one has nightstands. In the living room/kitchen, there is a table with 4 chairs, allowing a family or group of friends to eat together. There is also a couch and a TV. Free wifi is provided, along with AC in every room. Overall, this was a perfect stay, and I’m so glad that I chose this place! I’ll be sure to book again once I’m back in the city! Thank you to the team managing the property for everything!

Location is close to transportation, subway, market etc. staff was friendly.

The property was very spacious and it had all the amenities I would have at my own home. The place was very clean and beautiful.

Firstly the apartment: It's clean, full of all amenities, have access to gym, super markets are around, metro is 5 mins walk - and you name a thing for use in the flat and you'll find it in the apartment there, literally. Then about the host: A kind, considerate, and very open minded person. You won't get to see him much except for when he hands you the key and answers your questions, if you have any. Thereafter, you can contact him on whatsApp / texts and he will respond asap to help. So, all in all 10/10 for the host too.
