Very clean & well appointed

I had an absolutely amazing five night stay at the Hotel Beacon. The hotel is somewhat iconic in NYC and this is reflected in everything one experiences while there; it’s run like a well-oiled machine. Check in smooth, efficient & friendly as were all the staff in the reception area. Extending my reservation was a breeze, with the reservations manager (Dawn) going above & beyond the call of duty to assist in finding me the best rates possible. Even the housekeeping staff were outstanding. The rooms are surprisingly well-sized, well-equipped and offer the added benefit of a little kitchenette which goes such a long way in saving on meals. The views are breath taking! The hotel has the most ideal location being two short blocks away from an express subway station & with a bus stop a half a block away. The upper west side of Manhattan is wonderful in that it has a neighbourhood feel, while also having an endless array of restaurants to choose from, being two blocks from the glorious Central Park & two subway stops from Time Square. I highly recommend Hotel Beacon and wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff for making my stay so memorable.

we are regulars and appreciate that we are always treated like valued guests and because it is a moderate size hotel staff get to know you The entry is strictly controlled so you feel safe Had a lovely view across central Park and it varied throughout day with beautiful sunrise excellent location being next to central park and the subway Has excellent Gym with Technogym equipment and also a pool

The location was amazing it’s the prime location in NYC, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and honestly everything was just perfect. It’s gonna be my go to hotel whenever I’m in New York.

The location was great. Beautiful brownstone street, convenient to four different subway lines, with plenty of services within a block or two. Michael was an excellent and gracious host, and the space is lovely and unique.

Having a kitchenette was very convenient. Had code to access hotel and room after check-in hours.

The hotel was close to transportation to and from LaGuardia Airport and easy access to Manhattan. I saw complaints of the area, but no one bothered me no matter what time I walked back and forth from the hotel to the subway. And there were many late nights/morning.

Having a microwave in the room. Coffee anytime at the lobby.

Breakfast not served which is fine with me. Staff is amazing and very helpful. Quaint hotel but perfect for New York. Not much time in the room if you are there to visit New York and all it has to offer.

Excellent location close to subway and plenty of cafe, restaurants, supermarkets nearby. Close to the park and museums. Clean spacious rooms with basic amenities. Rooms were cleaned daily. We got one superior and one queen suite. Both were great.

I loved the fact that everything was extremely clean, good smell and tasty coffee in the mornings! :)

Very Well manicured hotel. They did a good job of making me feel at home. The view of Lincoln Center is amazing from the Hotel and in this Autumn weather you really get to see how pretty the city looks at this time of year.
