This was our second stay at The Wallace and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in NYC. Beautiful boutique hotel in the quiet Upper West Side, close to Central Park and easy subway access. The addition of the Wallace Lounge , an atmospheric bar and lounge with live jazz most nights and lovely bar food is great.

Beautiful park, huge, horse and carriage rides.
Beautiful park, huge, horse and carriage rides. Artists displaying their artwork. The IMAGINE tribute to John Lennon is a very moving experience!!! Sometimes people sing together and play instruments!!! As a huge BEATLES fan, I have been there three times over a 12 year period and I still find it very emotional

This isn't your average, American park ! You'll want to stay there at least a couple hours (or more) to really enjoy it. Bring food and plan a picnic there. Also, enjoy the various modes of transportation (scooters, bikes, horse carriages) to enjoy the park road and explore this immense space.

It’s beautiful.
It’s beautiful. Our 2nd time there, 1st being in early Fall & things more green, flowers still in bloom, sunny warm day. This time a bit drizzly & grey, fountains closed down but it was still a peaceful enjoyable walk. Bring your own snacks & drinks

We had a very expensive but lovely horse and carriage ride well worth a visit. I would probably do the walking tour and go later in the year so that it was green. We went in March and it was void of all leaves.

We went just after the pandemic so the park was overgown and filled with homeless people. I am not one to say that people trying to exist is an eyesore. It was just sad that they had to live there. Still a beautiful park.

The Belvedere Hotel has an amazing location right in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s close to a subway station and so many great eateries. Central Park and the Theater District are about a 10-minute walk away. It’s also in a very gay-friendly area, if you’re looking for that. The accommodations were just right for what I needed for several days.
Superb location. with stunning panoramic views of Central Park.
Cheerful and attentive staff, exceptionally family friendly - all staff members responded quickly and effectively to all of our requests - we were really impressed!
Front Desk, Concierge, Bellhops, Housekeeping, Restaurant Staff - we would like to thank all team members for their outstanding service!
The common areas of the hotel have been beautifully renovated.
Overall we experienced a wonderful six night stay with our family at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City!
The hotel is located in a quiet residential tree lined street, near the museums and right overlooking the Central Park. The hotel and location has a European vibe. Quiet area. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
The room is cozy and clean, with a good selection of toiletries, providing Dove skincare and hair care. Breakfast was served late into morning and well prepared. Overall experience is pleasant and comfortable.
The location is the hotel's greatest asset. It's right at 54th/Broadway just on the north edge of the Theatre District and a quick walk to Central Park South.
Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make our stay special. Great location-able to walk to shows and Central Park. Enjoyed continental breakfast daily from 7 to 10 in a lovely area-tables-couches-staff that toasted your bagel choice. Beautiful rooms with great AC 😊 next time we’re in NYC this is our hotel!
We loved the location! Only a couple walking blocks to Central Park one way or Riverside the other way. Everything you would want or need is within good walking distance from hotel
The room was clean and roomy. The mini kitchen was perfect! We were able to make coffee and keep leftovers and waters in the fridge. The bathroom was clean, bed was very comfortable, and the nighttime view from our window was beautiful!
We will definitely choose The Beacon on return visits!
The hospitality staff that we had our first night were SOOOOO sweet. They really took care of our needs when the downstairs front desk folks were slacking. Especially appreciated a woman named Ashley on the 18th floor. The beds were super comfy, and the shower was great too. Our view the second night from the 19th floor was awesome. And the hotel location is pretty great- right there at Times Square and super close to Central Park too. We did quick walks both ways when we wanted. And saw a Broadway show that was a half a block away!
Location is just excellent, local environment is smooth/easy going, not that much hectic and crowdy. Close to the Central Park, Grand Central Station (easy walk with luggage if you arrive at Newark Airport and take Coach bus). Generally, if you are walking person, you may reach all locations in Lower Manhattan on foot.
Hotel and hotel amenities are OK, meet all needs.
Hotel's special value is hotel personnel, who are easy going, easy in communication, very professional, friendly and very much considerate to guests.
The location is great. Not in the thick of things with Time Square but perfect for getting to the broadway shows. Its also a short walk to Central Park. Staff are always friendly and helpful with storing luggage after your stay and assisting with small requests. Plenty of food spots around the hotel for a quick bite and train stations can also be found.
Location is not exactly central but nice. You can walk or use metro/bus to get most of the places to see. If you find a better deal though, closer to Central Park hotels might be nicer. We found a sweet spot price comparatively, so I think it was worth it. Halal options in breakfast is present. Also, in walking distance, there were many halal spots for dining. Staff was friendly, helped us about parking rules around there.
