The north part of the park from the 90th street and up has a more natural and wild landscape which is really lovely, especially in the spring with all the daffodils and crocuses flowering - it’s gorgeous! A little more south, around the 70’th streets you can get to the reservoir and walk around. Gorgeous place to spend a morning walk or an afternoon, there are paths for bicycles and roller
It is such a breath of fresh air - quite literally! As a Londoner with easy access to Hyde Park and many others, I did not thing I would be as impressed as I was walking through the park, but I could not have been more mistaken! It was a lovely break from the city and such a peaceful experience walking all the way from the Lower West side to the Upper East side and took a lot less time to cover so much ground that I thought! I would highly recommend renting a bike if you're feeling like getting a little bit more exercise and covering more ground. Cannot wait to go back!
A great place just to walk around or you can either ride a bike or take a horse and buggy ride it is quite a big area so it would take most of the day to see. There are people selling things or things that you can eat I love Visiting Central Park when I am in New York.
Definately do the 1 hour horse horse and carriage ride. A great way to see most of the park. We had a very personable guide called Robert who with his horse Josie made it a very interesting and memorable part of our visit.
Central Park is a great place to escape the noise and hustle and bustle of New York. There is a great little cafe in the park called Le Pain Quotidien which served great coffee and pastries. Lots of walks and different areas to see in the park.
I've been there over ten times. You can never see it all! I use to stay close by and get a bus every day to a different place of it and just start walking. Love to sit in the shade to read and rest. During summer it's crowded, but anybody bothers other people and lots of street artists make your day!
Very nice hotel with spectacular staff. The only reason I put a not perfect grade on the room was that it was a bit small. But for the value and location (one block from Central Park), really terrific. And the room was very clean with a very comfortable bed! Nice to have breakfast included as well and to be able to leave our bags at the hotel the next day as we were not leaving the city until 6:00 pm that night. All in all, a very perfect stay!
Everything. We came here after switching hotels because we were unhappy with the first hotel we had chosen. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked into the lobby. The check-in went really smooth and only took a few minutes. When we got to our room we got the surprise that our room was overlooking Central Park! It was great value for the money and would definitely stay here again.
Great location, the surrounding area has restaurants, coffee shops, central park is so close! It's beautiful to walk in Central Park in the mornings. The train is very close. Very close to all museums. The staff is extremely accommodating and really happy! That's so important in times like this. Everyone smiled! Delicious coffee bar in the hotel.
The room was very comfortable and clean. It’s in a great location, walking distance to time square, Empire State Building and, Central Park. I highly recommend this hotel. There is also a very cute cafe and 2 bars. The rooftop was amazing as well. There was only 4 other rooms on my floor which I really loved.
The apartment is exceptionally clean and located literally steps away from Central Park, in a heart of Midtown. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything . Enough dining-out optioms around, even at COVID time. Bryce is amazing host and very accomodating
Great hotel in a perfect location for my family and I. Close to Central Park, all major subways, Rockefeller, Times Sq, shopping. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
It was a very quaint and clean hotel. The bed was like a cloud and the entire hotel smelled amazing. It’s only two blocks from Times Square and even Central Park is about a 20 minute walk away.
The hotel is located in a good neighborhood that is close to many spots- especially shopping at 5th avenue and good eateries! Not far from Grand Central and Central Park is a plus.
Location is great. This hotel is located near central park. I didn't have any issues to check in/out. The staff made this process fast and easy.
Amazing place with an incredible view. The central park is right across the street, the times square is beautiful 15 minutes away from the hotel.
try to organise by location. NY is huge so museums and Central Park together made sense. Also, try to get started early morning and look to avoid mid-afternoon.
Beautiful blossom in the spring, Central Park is an amazing and huge space, great for walking or cycling. The HighLine is a must do also
Parks of the city like Bryant and Madison are non-obvious like Central Park but they can recharge your energy.
Don't forget to pack your comfy shoes or trainers this is the best place to explore on foot and if you get a little tired, take a rest in Central park or Grand Central or the New York Public Library. If you get really tired or if the weather turns make sure you invest in a weekly Subway pass the best way to get from the top to the bottom of the city for only 30 dollars!!!
30 rock at night, a walk in Central Park to the Met, a drink at a rooftop bar
