Hotel in Manhattan, New York
The Times Square EDITION introduces the next generation of modern luxury.
Not really very much to see other than buildings with lights on it was noisy messy and not actually a square. We thought it would be a bit like leister square in London but it literally was just some building s we nearly walked past it.
I love times square. Plenty to see and do. Lots of restaurants ranging from reasonable to pricy. Shop around. If you stay in times square, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Carnagie Hall are all within walking distance.
Times Square is something that has to be seen to truly appreciate. However, be prepared to be overwhelmed with the amount of people and the sensory overload! Don't pose for pictures with or even interact with the characters in costumes, unless you intend to pay them. If you want to see Times Square at the least stressful time, go at 3am. And the best food in NYC is NOT in Times Square.
My comments are only negative because everything got shut down and our trips were all cancelled due to Coronavirus so everywhere was either shut or empty. Just bad timing but lucky to have survived the experience.
Mixed Emotions. One night, immediately as the rain was gone, I met a melting pot of languages and advertising displays right there on Times Square and felt landed in a vision of tomorrow. But it was nowadays. That let me think over some things. And especially for this we need such unique places. I love that.
WOW!!!! Times Square is definitely one of those must see places in New York!! And that is any time of the day!! But it is most spectacular at night....the lights, the people, the atmosphere...the place is a buzz ALL THE TIME!! I highly recomend a visit to Times Square for any traveller.
My recent stay was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Hotel Manager Allen. The hotel's prime location near Times Square allowed me to explore the city effortlessly, and the breakfast offerings were impressive in both variety and quality. The overall cleanliness and warm atmosphere of the hotel made for a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square to anyone visiting New York, and I look forward to returning in the future.
18 to 24 August 2023. Front desk is very helpful and friendly, and all the employee we met in the building too. The building is old and the elevator is old and slow, but , it does not matter, New York is a city with history, we love it. Very happy stay , will come back again for sure. My family said this is the best experience in New York, because the hotel is so convenient, central located. surrounded by so many restaurants , walking distance to Times square, to Subway ,bus Etc.
I like the close proximity to Times Square. New York has a lot of people so when you get tired of walking through how congested it was, you did not have far to walk to get back to the hotel. I liked the maid cleaning services. They cleaned the rooms really nice and they were extremely friendly. There was always someone by the elevator greeting you which was very nice. They smiled which goes a long way. I work hard for my money so a positive hotel culture is important to me.
We arrived at the hotel early and they were able to let us in our room 2 hours before check-in. The facility is modern and very clean overall. Room and bathroom are very very spacious - which is not easy to find in New York - bed, pillows, shower and everything was super comfortable. Location is great - away from the Times Square chaos but still walking distance to a lot of places including TS, 5th Avenue, St. Patricks Church, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and more.
If you're going to Times Square or Broadway on a budget this is the hotel for you! Let's face it, nothing in New York is cheap. But this was reasonable, but comfortable and was within distance of everything you need to make NY great. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.
Hotel with a great location, next to the subway (Times Square station), close to a pharmacy and restaurants and markets and several tourist attractions, we did everything on foot or by subway. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room with minibar, which had an even more positive effect.and I would stay there again.
The hotel has a very nice location, near of the Times Square and Central Park, with a subway station just some meters from the main door, this is a good choice to you stay to visite the some of most important touristic points of New York.
One the best hotels I stayed in New York! Especially the bath in the unit! The view, friendly staff, even products in the bathroom - everything was flawless! And dont forget its 10 min walking distance from Times Square!
The hotel is very central. If you would like to stay at the center of Manhattan, this is the place to be; very close to most of the theaters and Times Square.
I love Hilton Hotel:) I love New York:) Hilton Hotel + New York+ Times Square-best combination!
Choose a substantial section of the city, say Lower Manhattan, plot the sights you wish to see on a map so that you do not have to retrace your steps, take public transit to your starting point and begin your exploration. We started at the 9/11 Memorial and worked our way north, including City Hall, the Merchant's House, Chinatown, the Bowery, Washington Square, the White Horse Tavern, the High Line and the Garment District. Of course, there were all kinds of surprises, which added to the experience. We began at 10 am and were back at our Times Square hotel by 4 pm.
The Broadway experience is such a classic part of going to New York. The standard of performance is so high, and the atmosphere as you spill out towards Times Square afterwards is unforgettable.
Well, They're iconic! Statue of Liberty, Empire State, Top of The Rock, Times Square are things you must visit who you're there!
There are so many historical sights and architecture to see and behold. You can walk the stretch of Broadway and Times Square and you'll see many attractions already.
Times Square is very busy as are most of the main tourist attractions, but the hop on hop off busses are great or if you don't mind walking choose another street other than broadway and it is far easier to walk down
Visit the city during the week. You could visit locations without being mobbed. Times Square on the weekend (first weekend in June) was a zoo - too crowded.
