My comments are only negative because everything got shut down and our trips were all cancelled due to Coronavirus so everywhere was either shut or empty. Just bad timing but lucky to have survived the experience.
Mixed Emotions. One night, immediately as the rain was gone, I met a melting pot of languages and advertising displays right there on Times Square and felt landed in a vision of tomorrow. But it was nowadays. That let me think over some things. And especially for this we need such unique places. I love that.
WOW!!!! Times Square is definitely one of those must see places in New York!! And that is any time of the day!! But it is most spectacular at night....the lights, the people, the atmosphere...the place is a buzz ALL THE TIME!! I highly recomend a visit to Times Square for any traveller.
If you attending a count down you need to bring adult nappies. Toilet is not accessible. Once you In that's it, if you going out there is no way you can back in. Backpacks, ambarella etc.. you cant take it inside. Overall visits my family enjoyed our stay except the countdown very unorganised.
Always something going on, day or night. Behind the Ruby steps is a ticket booth selling discount theatre tickets, however it pays to contact the theatres direct if you can as quite often when buying from them they can be cheaper!
Its amazing to see, once. But is so crowded just walking g, especially with children, is dangerous and it's so packed sometimes it's a pick pockets dream come true.. SO CAUTION IS A MUST. Frankly, I think it's way over rated...just a bunch of stores, people, lights and billboards jammed into a very small space.. Big deal.
It was our second time staying at the property and like our first stay, we really liked the hotel and the whole experience with them. Plus: it is located just a few blocks away from Times Square, so you can easily walk. The staff was super nice and friendly, always ready to help. Modern rooms with what you need, the cleanliness was also great, despite the fact that now there is no housekeeping all the time (due to covid), you can also ask in the front desk.
I liked the view of the hotel and the clerk at the front desk was very nice. I think overall the view of the hotel was the only thing that I liked. The location wasn't so bad as it was near times square. However the room is TOO SMALL. If you want to go with your family to stay I would not recommend it. Perhaps if you go by yourself or just two people then yeah. But too deceiving.
Great this hotel was pet friendly and so central just off Times Square. Great to have free parking with a parking garage a street over. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent social distancing and health & safety protocols in place. The room was ok, clean but very worn and tired. Requested a times square view but was mainly roof tops.
The sky view corner king had great views of the city. The bed was very comfortable and overall the room was clean. The bathroom was also very nicely updated. The hotel is located right in the heart of Times Square and was just a short walk to all the shops. This is my new go to hotel when staying in NYC.
The best of this hotel is the location. Is walking distance from a lot of restaurants and from Times Square. Also at the check in there was a nice host receiving us and she gave us a gift for our anniversary. The view from our room was great. I would love to stay again in this hotel and recommend it.
The location of the hotel is perfect it’s right by 34th street and Times Square is not too far. There’s restaurants, pharmacies, fast food, there’s even a liquor store near by. The room was a bit small but I perfect for an intimate stay. 10 out of 10. They charge 100 deposit per night.
Central located, close to Times Square and a lots of good restaurants, train stations, pharmacy, stores, etc. If you are in a Budget, there is a $0.99 pizza place 1 minute walking. I love how clean the hotel was, the staff and the efficiency.
Everything was amazing The girl at check in was amazing and made checking in easy and quick super friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and its super close to times square, other tourist attraction and pubs.
The location was convenient and accessible. Really close to Times square and Bryant Park. Bed was comfortable. Deco was nice. The hotel is beautiful overall. They have a nice baggage storage service included.
I enjoyed the breakfast. The location of the hotel to Times Square is excellent.
Choose a substantial section of the city, say Lower Manhattan, plot the sights you wish to see on a map so that you do not have to retrace your steps, take public transit to your starting point and begin your exploration. We started at the 9/11 Memorial and worked our way north, including City Hall, the Merchant's House, Chinatown, the Bowery, Washington Square, the White Horse Tavern, the High Line and the Garment District. Of course, there were all kinds of surprises, which added to the experience. We began at 10 am and were back at our Times Square hotel by 4 pm.
The Broadway experience is such a classic part of going to New York. The standard of performance is so high, and the atmosphere as you spill out towards Times Square afterwards is unforgettable.
Well, They're iconic! Statue of Liberty, Empire State, Top of The Rock, Times Square are things you must visit who you're there!
There are so many historical sights and architecture to see and behold. You can walk the stretch of Broadway and Times Square and you'll see many attractions already.
Times Square is very busy as are most of the main tourist attractions, but the hop on hop off busses are great or if you don't mind walking choose another street other than broadway and it is far easier to walk down
Visit the city during the week. You could visit locations without being mobbed. Times Square on the weekend (first weekend in June) was a zoo - too crowded.
