The Times Square EDITION introduces the next generation of modern luxury. gorgeous boutique hotel - lovely staff! would definitely recommend
I love times square. Plenty to see and do. Lots of restaurants ranging from reasonable to pricy. Shop around. If you stay in times square, Central Park, Lincoln Center and Carnagie Hall are all within walking distance.
Times Square is something that has to be seen to truly appreciate. However, be prepared to be overwhelmed with the amount of people and the sensory overload! Don't pose for pictures with or even interact with the characters in costumes, unless you intend to pay them. If you want to see Times Square at the least stressful time, go at 3am. And the best food in NYC is NOT in Times Square.
My comments are only negative because everything got shut down and our trips were all cancelled due to Coronavirus so everywhere was either shut or empty. Just bad timing but lucky to have survived the experience.
Mixed Emotions. One night, immediately as the rain was gone, I met a melting pot of languages and advertising displays right there on Times Square and felt landed in a vision of tomorrow. But it was nowadays. That let me think over some things. And especially for this we need such unique places. I love that.
WOW!!!! Times Square is definitely one of those must see places in New York!! And that is any time of the day!! But it is most spectacular at night....the lights, the people, the atmosphere...the place is a buzz ALL THE TIME!! I highly recomend a visit to Times Square for any traveller.
If you attending a count down you need to bring adult nappies. Toilet is not accessible. Once you In that's it, if you going out there is no way you can back in. Backpacks, ambarella etc.. you cant take it inside. Overall visits my family enjoyed our stay except the countdown very unorganised.
the Belvedere's greatest asset over other hotels is its location. If you are in New York to see Broadway shows, it is in the perfect spot. Only a few blocks from Times Square, it is on a quiet street with multiple eateries within two blocks. The room was clean with a nice view. The water pressure was adequate (shower) and powerful (toilet). The bed was comfortable. There was a desk and chair, and a bench. Housekeeping was efficient and shoed attention to detail. The desk and lobby staff were attentive and helpful.
Great location, friendly staff and comfortable stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a terrace and kitchen. It was a lot of space compared to other places to stay in Midtown East. A few blocks to subway and walkable distance to Rockefeller, Times Square and Central Park. Parking garage on next block was $45 per day with hotel validation (no in-outs). Whole foods and restaurants close by. I would recommend this place and stay here again.
DaVinci Hotel is a wonderful New York bargain. it is a three star and the building is older. But everything is clean and freshly painted and the lobby has been completely updated. The staff is excellent: friendly, available and helpful. There is an Italian restaurant downstairs. Broadway and Times Square are within a ten to fifteen minute walk. Central Park is a reasonable walk in the opposite direction. I have stayed there several times.
The location was a few blocks south of Central Park and a few blocks north of Times Square. It was just far enough away from the craziness but close enough so that I could walk there and not need to take the subway. The room was large: a one bedroom apartment with a small mini fridge, sink, and microwave. The living room couch was a daybed.
The hotel is in a convenient mid-town location. Close to subway, Times Square and east side restaurants and bars. The room was a decent size for this type of hotel. The bathroom was also ample with both a hand held and overhead shower, along with bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. The room was very clean with complimentary water.
Fantastic Location, and an unbeatable price. Within 10 mins walking distance of Times Square, the empire state building, and many shopping centers. Very central, modern/updated, and SPOTLESS hotel room. There was attention to detail in the folding of the towels and prep of the room by the housekeepers. Highly impressed!
Staff is really nice and always willing to help, also the hotel is placed in a great location. Right next to Times Square but you could barely hear any noises coming from the streets. Lobby was a fun area to hang around while waiting and the 2nd floor had a decent space to open up my laptop and work.
Location, the view of South Manhattan, The signature scent in the hotel. Close to Penn Station and times square. Very cool hotel and secure. Staff were friendly when you spoke to them. House keeping were awesome. Sound proofing was excellent.
The hotel is really close to the Times Square, the location is great. The room is clean, confort but not so quite because of the location but nothing that will disturb you during the night. The staff is friendly and helpful.
A solid hotel in Times Square, close to everything in Midtown. The bedding is comfortable and the room has everything you need in a very compact space.
Choose a substantial section of the city, say Lower Manhattan, plot the sights you wish to see on a map so that you do not have to retrace your steps, take public transit to your starting point and begin your exploration. We started at the 9/11 Memorial and worked our way north, including City Hall, the Merchant's House, Chinatown, the Bowery, Washington Square, the White Horse Tavern, the High Line and the Garment District. Of course, there were all kinds of surprises, which added to the experience. We began at 10 am and were back at our Times Square hotel by 4 pm.
The Broadway experience is such a classic part of going to New York. The standard of performance is so high, and the atmosphere as you spill out towards Times Square afterwards is unforgettable.
Well, They're iconic! Statue of Liberty, Empire State, Top of The Rock, Times Square are things you must visit who you're there!
There are so many historical sights and architecture to see and behold. You can walk the stretch of Broadway and Times Square and you'll see many attractions already.
Times Square is very busy as are most of the main tourist attractions, but the hop on hop off busses are great or if you don't mind walking choose another street other than broadway and it is far easier to walk down
Visit the city during the week. You could visit locations without being mobbed. Times Square on the weekend (first weekend in June) was a zoo - too crowded.
