I believe this hotel deserves an extra star for its exceptional service. Upon checking in, we noticed an odd smell in our room, and we were offered a room change instantly. The rooms were always clean, with new towels, a brush, and slippers. If we needed extra tea, we got it. Additionally, when my boyfriend fell ill, the staff managed to find a doctor for us on the same day, which would have been impossible for us to do on our own. The room was also well-designed in terms of convenience. Downstairs, there was a Starbucks, making it super convenient for our morning needs without much walking. Furthermore, near the elevators, there's a large vending machine selling toothbrushes, electrical adapters, shaving kits, and other necessities, making it handy for late check-ins when everything is closed. The hotel's location is worth praising, as it is very close to all the nice places, restaurants, and even Victoria Peak. Overall, I do not understand why this hotel has only 3 stars; they definitely deserve a 4-star rating for their excellent service and everything! Highly recommended!

I felt safe staying in the property as a solo female traveler. The neighbourhood was peaceful and I felt the local vibe. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade my room for free! Thank you so much! It was the best decision to change to Woody House! Initially I booked at Chungking Mansions thinking to save but the stay at Chungking Mansions was a horror that I had to immediately rebook to a different place. Glad I made the right decision. Will be coming back!

    It is small...very small..but.managablenif your goal is affordability safety and location. If you are on a tight budget and have a good sense of humor about staying in a tiny tiny room this is for you. Fantastic location to reach things in Hong Kong. Like New York and other huge cities you shouldn't expect much space for such a good price per night.
