Really unique lodge. The staff were helpful. We were the only ones there so it was dead quiet. The sauna was a treat. The plentiful self-serve breakfast was great.

The beds were nice, the kitchen was clean and the bathroom was clean too. Spacious rooms and mine at least had a sink in it, which was nice.

Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm.
Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. Motor museum and brewery in the village with the opportunity to go for horse rides directly from the hotel.

It was a wonderful quiet town with lots of people who were very friendly. It seems that the town stays awake and serves food and drinks providing that people are their to eat and drink. Their service is first class.
On arrival we were greeted by really lovely staff who made us feel welcome from the start. The room was so nice! Beautiful room on an amazing hotel in the middle of a town that we didn't even planned to visit!
Tenesor was absolutely amazing on check-in and during dinner and after. What a lovely person we got to meet.
The whole hotel is beautiful and the rooms really exceeded our expectations.
It was a lovely but short stay.
The living room was amazing as was the decoration of the whole hotel.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel with its luxurious amenities! The jacuzzi and sauna were such a treat, providing the perfect relaxation after a long day of exploring. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my experience even more enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-appointed, ensuring a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful and rejuvenating getaway!
Cute little hotel located in a quiet town. We absolutely enjoy our stay. The hospitality from the staff and manager is just beyond our expectations. They opened the buffet breakfast just for us as we were the only guests staying that night - what a lovely gesture! We have stayed a few hotels in Iceland (including the Retreat at Blue Lagoon) but this hotel is top of the list!
For a small town, the Hotel does it up right. Very very comfortable with great staff making the stay very pleasant. The free coffee bar and honor snack bar with cushy seats by the fireplace are a really nice touch. We also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Everyone was delightful and the room was quiet and comfy.
The breakfast is the standout here! Amazing selection and service! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the chalets in the back and it was nicely isolated and comfortable. It has a full bathroom and kitchenette. The hotel is very much in the middle of nowhere which we loved! Nice and quiet
It is a very nice hotel with super friendly staff (hotel is family run). It is easily reachable when you are traveling on the ring road. The hotel is very cosy and has a great location. The breakfast was also amazing. We can highly recommend this place and will go there again when we come back to Iceland.
A Quiet area with peaceful view! Smooth check-in although we were late on the day. Cosy room with comfortable beds! There were a sauna and a jacuzzi free to use and we were served with a great breakfast! The hotel owner was super friendly and sweet. We were super lucky to stay there.
The whole look and fele of the hotel was special. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The billiard was a great past time. The jakuzzi and sauna are both available for everyone as well. A quite, hidden vintage gem.
An amazing isolated hotel with spectacular views. The service and meals were wonderful. We were there at the very end of the season. Be prepared for a 30 kilometer drive on a gravel road to access the site.
Beautiful decorated wood and metal rooms. Good restaurant on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and big living room to cheel out at night. The atmosphere in this hotel was the best.
Being in a really wild area of Iceland, with no so many available options, this hotel provides really nice rest, dinner, breakfast, and hhjas facilities such a sauna and outdoor jakuzzi
Nice hotel on south coast. Better than expected. Rooms were big with comfy beds. Breakfast was ordered night before and was ready on time. nice 24 hours coffee service.
We booked at Hotel Post, but upon arrival we were "upgraded" to the neighbouring Hotel Breiddalsvik (same owners apparently), my evaluation reflects that place.
Cute tiny chalet with fridge hot plate microwave private comfortable Hotel breakfast excellent and included -cold buffet and hot eggs sausage and beans
