The townhouse is very spacious and clean, great for big family or with group of friends. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of crockery and cooking appliances. Lots of seating areas and plenty of hot water. Spacious bedrooms upstairs and clean and modern bathrooms. The host Eva is very helpful provided us with lots of info on places to visit and eatery and shops surrounding the property.

I love this park as it's a short walk through bush to the beach and close to the bay. There are a lot of trees in and around the park. It feels close to nature with enough amenities for convenience (not that I used them). I stayed in a Tiny House which was clean and comfortable, I always like a kitchen with decent fridge and cook-top for food prep.

Pool was heated thus kids swam anytime they wanted including in rain, and pool area is great and steam room was a bit of fun for the kids - beats crown terrigal and nearly as good as ramada shoal bay They upgraded my family booking and gave us 11 am checkout which was greatly appreciated and very helpful Nothing was a problem for the staff Room well resourced with microwave toaster kettle even electric frypan (which we did not need to use but handy to have) Room had two beds plus pull out sofa TV was biggest screen ive seen in a hotel which was great location super handy for cruises and eateries / supermarket

    - We really enjoyed our stay and felt that all the small details had been considered. - The wifi was good when we decided to stay in and do work when it was raining. - The views were relaxing from the balconies and the upstairs rooftop looked like a cool place to relax next time we return. - We unfortunately got unlucky with rainy weather but it didn't stop us enjoying the kookaburras in the gardens and checking out the local areas & friendly local businesses. - Loved the local ceramics workshop, the visitors centre and the 2 fat bakers bakery (best quiche & spinach loaf I've ever eaten.) - Next time we'll catch a ferry to Nelson Bay for the day and try to spot dolphins.

    Not enough dining options and no shade at the beach but still a lovely place to visit. The beach is ideal for us and the Golf Club restaurant is great, not much else around. Easy to get around and The 2 Fat Bakers cake and pie shop at Tea Gardens is THE BEST ! So much choice, so much flavour... Yum !

    Hawks Nest is a sleepy seaside town that we love. Great beach walks, local Benchmark on Booner Cafe restaurant, fantastic seafood at Mums on the Myall in Tea Gardens, local bakery. People are very friendly and welcoming. .

    For people who like places a bit off the beaten track but with lively local community. Not many choices for eating out, but good IGA, and bakery and interesting hardware/toy gift store if you're looking for kids' gifts.

    There was a great lady who did thai massages in Tea gardens, the golf course and club was amazing. The boathouse was great for meals at tea gardens too. We were disapointed that the oyster barn was closed down. Bennets beach was great for sunrises and walking it was so clean and very quiet.

    Bad booking agent who did not notify me the owners did not...

    Bad booking agent who did not notify me the owners did not want to rent . Only after seven months and holding my deposit money I was told this after I called them to pay the balance of rent . Very unprofessional .

    The Penthouse was very comfortable, cosy, with the feel of luxury, exceptionally clean, spacious, well equipped,simply fabulous. We felt amazing. The location is perfect, close to the beach. Hawks Nest is such a lovely place, we fell in love with it and we will definetely be back again. Thank you to Rosemary, our host, who stayed in contact with us and provided us with all the information needed.

    The location was excellent. Great being near the boat ramp. Pity they are doing roadworks nearby because that was a bit noisy. Hawks Nest is a beautiful location. It was great that we could bring our puppy on holidays. The place has a big yard, good undercover area and spacious living area/kitchen. It was a comfortable place to be.

    We were doing the hawks nest triathlon which was literally across the road so location could not have been better. Also next door to the pub! Food was pretty good in the pub too.
