Nice welcome, good location, good bar, nice breakfast, good value. Stay in Alderley Edge a lot and find all the hotels there similar in relation to value for money.

Didn't have breakfast as stayed before and it wasn't quite as good used to be. Feel like it's changed hands.
Ideally located on Manchester Airport Grounds, offering guests a complimentary 24hrs shuttle bus service to and from all Terminals and the Airport Train station.
Set in the heart of Manchester International Airport complex, DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport is walkable to each terminal or just a 5 minutes’ drive away.

The hotel was very convenient for catching the train into the city centre and for our early flight.

Staff were excellent in the bar/restaurant area, the bar/restaurant area was trimmed nicely for the Christmas period and does have a very welcoming and warm feel to it. Drinks are a bit pricy though.
The Location - Great location for bars, restaurants and the retail facilities in Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Town.
The room - Decorated to a modern style but there were some damage to painted areas which just need a touch up. The main let down was we found someone else's boxer shorts in the bin in the en-suite, toe nail clipping on the floor in the en-suite and the door to the en-suite very noisy. These are simple things that should not be seen by the 'next guest' in to a room that should be cleaned properly between guests staying.
However, we would stay again as I'd expect the owners to act on these issues if they read these reviews.

Alderley Edge is a very affluent part of cheshire known as part of the golden triangle or Wilmsow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury. Lots of footballers and famous people live here so can be seen in and around the local bars and restaurants. If you like car spotting come here as Lambo's and Ferraris are ten a penny along with every Chelsea tractor known to man. Lovely people and a great laid back vibe and must visit as well as a walk up to Edge with stunning views over the Cheshire downs.

Alderley Edge is a great place to stay for the weekend.
Alderley Edge is a great place to stay for the weekend. Cafes and restaurants are good and close to each other. It is also good base if you want to walk around the local countryside and if you want to go further afield there is a station nearby that stops at other towns and Manchester.

We stayed to go to the Cheshire game and country fair on the Sunday, so didn't have a lot of time to look locally. The Hotel was a good stop off and would use it again for a look at the closer area.

We were visiting family in the area.
We were visiting family in the area. Alderley Edge is a convenient place to stay, close to Manchester Airport and with a station in the centre, and it is surrounded by some beautiful countryside. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants, both within the village and in the countryside nearby.
There is a brilliant fish and chip shop near the hotel and an excellent independent bakery/patisserie, Weinholts, which is an institution in the high street.
We were only in the room for a quick sleep and shower before flying out of Manchester, but the room was sweet, and the host was incredibly kind and communicative. It was close to the train station, making easy transport to the Manchester airport. The neighborhood was beautiful, and many cute little coffee shops were open early so we could get a good meal in before our fight. This room is not in Manchester proper. It was easy to navigate on the trains, but keeping the train schedule in mind is essential.
Nice to stay in a place with a bit more character than your average Premier Inn, and at a very reasonable price. The room had all the necessities, with a comfortable bed, decent shower and nice soap/shower gel. Downstairs is a nice bar area which is obviously popular with locals, and the place obviously gets some weddings etc. The breakfast was a standout - superb waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble, and excellent freshly-cooked food.
Another lovely pub to stay in the small village of Alderley Edge. Good value for money. Room was comfy, bed was absolutely huge, parking, and we had dinner downstairs at night, and have to say it was one of the best meals we have had on our trip to the UK. Very tasty. Quaint pub, close to everything, walking distance to cafes, op shops, Waitrose and everywhere else. Good place to stay.
Beautiful and historic old building , incredibly well restored and maintained - rooms are large and incredibly comfortable - great mix of the traditional and new with all the facilities you'd need in room - very short walk from the village where there any number of places to eat & drink , a short walk from the countryside. Excellent value , very attentive host
Nice hotel with good sized, comfortable rooms with a modern bathroom. Safe, free parking (requires vehicle registration on check-in). Food is excellent - good breakfasts and a nice restaurant menu too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi-fi was fast, free and stable but did require an annoying, mobile phone number based, log-in.
This is such a wonderful place to stay with a delightful and very helpful and accommodating staff.
Conveniently located between villages and not too far from the airport, yet you feel plenty removed from anywhere.
The bar and restaurant are not only very comfortable, but some of the food I had during my 2-week UK visit.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was way better than expected. The train station is only a quick walk through the village. Such a lovely area!
Book it you will not regret it.
Would definitely stay again.
Staff were extremely helpful and kind! Thank you, all.

It was very clean and comfy. Right where I needed to be. All cafes and restaurant are just a minute or so walk. Owner was very helpful with information on how to get in, calling for taxi when I needed, advice on place to eat etc.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Location suited our reason for visiting the area. The restaurant was well organised by friendly and helpful staff. The evening meals and breakfasts had plenty of variety and were well cooked.
Exceptionally friendly owner and a great location for local activities. The room was really well furnished and the bed very comfortable indeed. Alderley Edge is a lovely village and really handy for local attractions.
The location is excellent, the staff where amazing particularly paid attention to my elderly Mum.
Food was great breakfast hectic but the staff continued to smile & remain helpful.
