Friendly staff, peace and quiet - oh and did I say an awesome aurora borealis sighting right from the backyard? The hot breakfast buffet was very good compared to what we experienced earlier in the vicinity. Bottomline, you will not be disappointed.

This place is like a dream! A beautiful boutique hotel with working farm. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful and the staff was even better! Did I mention we road their beautiful Icelandic horses on a mountain/flatland ride. Could have stayed forever!

The hosts were so kind. I loved the location of the property, right under a waterfall and across from the ocean. Place was very cute and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Such a beautiful location and a well-maintained, clean, and comfy place to stay. The staff member we communicated with was great and so helpful when we realized we had booked the wrong type of room by accident. So appreciated! You should try their restaurant across the street. It was delicious and a lovely atmosphere. Also, the sheep at the farm next door are super adorable.

The location under the mountain is amazing
But it is really crowded with a lot of cabins and cottages which made the place less appealing
Set on a working cow farm, these cottages feature a hot tub, kitchenette and terrace with BBQ facilities. All have picturesque views of Eyjafjöll Mountain. Iceland’s Ring Road is 1.2 mi away.

This place is about 5 to10mins drive from the nearest main road. Seems like a quiet farm area to me. The key is self collection and you are able to park your vehicle on the premise for free. Everything is so comfy here and it is getting real dark during night hence make it a good spot for aurora hunting. Got the necessary facility in the unit as well. We are the sole guests during that night so can't really comment on soundproofing part that we read from other comments. Overall I would say it is a good place to spend your night at Iceland

I would have liked to have more time to get up in the mountains and hike, visit the glacier, and explore Vestmannaeyjar islands. The property was very convenient to explore many attractions, like Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, and also not too far for a day trip to Vik.
The restaurant experience and food were the best of our entire trip, we were welcomed and discussed wanting to see the northern lights. While at dinner the chef came and told us that the lights were active (unfortunately not for long) and that he would keep our food warm while we went out, we then got a knock on a hotel door approx. 30mins after leaving the restaurant and it was the chef again prompted the lights (PS. we got engaged under them)!
We appreciated the attentiveness and going that extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
Heida the host was exceptional--she came to greet us right away and told us about a bonus waterfall to check out in the area behind a museum. The location is perfect for waterfall lovers, in between two of the very well known ones in Iceland. The breakfast was also lovely, homemade pancakes and bread. It was a wonderful experience.
Country Hotel Anna was convenient to the waterfalls around Skogafoss and also to the Myrdal glacier and black sand beaches. Staff were efficient and friendly. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was ample and varied. Dinner was fantastic. Food was well prepared and menu provided good choices.
Wonderful surroundings that felt like a very good representation of southern Iceland. Pure, beautiful Iceland :)
Nice breakfast and a calm cozy vibe overall. Took us about 2-3 hours to drive to Jökulsárlòn at the biggest glacier Vatnajökull and Diamond Beach from the hotel, beautiful drive as well.
This is a small hotel, built in1927 and furnished with antiques which gives it a lot more charm than the bigger, modern hotels. It's a little off the beaten path in a serene setting with horses in a nearby pasture that invite petting! We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent.
Quaint inn with different types of rooms. Traditional buffet breakfast. We had lamb, reindeer and fish for dinner. All were very good. Location was good for a day trip to the Westmann Islands one day and glacier tours in the national park the next.
A wonderful hotel in a picturesque corner of Iceland. We stayed in an apartment - spacious, clean, comfortable. Great bed. Everything you need. Wonderful breakfasts . Friendly helpful staff. Great dinners at the hotel restaurant!
We needed an early start for our glacier hike and the host set a table of 6 with an amazing beautiful spread of breakfast early for us! So kind!
Large rooms, super clean, comfortable everything, would highly recommend.
Quaint hotel, we were the only guests due to a storm and the lady in reception was so helpful and friendly. The food was lovely, the chef had made some extra treats which were divine! Breakfast was lovely!
We stayed at Hotel Anna during a storm and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. our hotel room was comfy and very spacious. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious, dinner was good.
