Amazing location and very friendly staff! Felt like we were staying with family (only better, lol). That patio? Sipping a glass of complimentary port upon arrival, while watching the sun set and the Douro meander by (all in complete silence) - to die for! The views and setting are spectacular!! Absolutely breath taking. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff was kind and the facilities were impecably clean. We wish we had better weather to enjoy the pool. The grounds are gorgeous and the patio with a drink is the place to be on a sunny day.

The breakfast was very good. Glad to know they made eggs for breakfast. But the kitchen was very slow at breakfast and dinner the night before.

The facility (outdoor pool wasn't heated, but we enjoyed it) The welcoming Port wine was an unexpected touch, and the setting (environment) is magnificent. Staff was helpful, friendly, and kind.

Pleasant stay at a nice, calm farm house with fabulous views. We did not like the distance from the nearest restaurant (around 30 mins by car), mainly because dinner's price per person at the property is on the expensive side.
