    Bicknell is a small town about 10 miles outside of Capitol Reef National Park where you can find hotel rooms that are less expensive and family restaurants. Bicknell is a bed-room community for the National Parks, not really a destination of it's own.

    I stayed at the Sunglow some years ago but the new owners have done a lot of work to update all the rooms and they are much more pleasant and modern. The new owner was exceptionally helpful and kind when I had a small car problem for which I am very grateful. Other staff were genuinely friendly and I enjoyed my stay. The cafe has good food (great local pies) and is a good option in Bicknell.

    Large and comfortable rooms; Excellent location, ~20 min drive from the Capitol Reef NP; Good swimming pool and Jacuzzi with warm water, - very helpful after intensive hiking ; There is very good restaurant close to the hotel - Curry Pizza. Very good food and low prices;
