We have been staying at this property since we moved from New York to Montreal. We have family in Long Island and have been coming to this hotel for the last 13 years. The staff are amazing… Especially the young lady who was at the desk when we checked in. I cannot remember her name, but I know it starts with an S. is she allowed us to check in super early because we got in in the middle of the night. In addition, their staff are lovely, the rooms are clean and spacious, they give you breakfast and dinner Monday to Thursdays. In the summer, they have a small pool that you with rooms that open up onto the pool and Terrace. They also have a restaurant called Volpe, which is next-door to the Fox Hollow and I believe is part of the Fox Hollow… They have the most amazing food. This is our go to Hotel when we come to Long Island :)

    The place was close to where I wanted to be.

    The place was close to where I wanted to be. The hotel tried to get way more than what I booked for. I asked for but didn't get a 1st floor room until getting in contact with booking.com.They also tried to keep my $100 deposit. Someone there charged my card after I left. The carpet was dirty. The toilet kept running unless you shook the handle several times. The Desk clerks refused to give me receipts. There was 1 woman at the desk who was honest but she had no real authority.

    Various restaurant's in the area of Woodbury, Syosset - great steak house's, Italian, Greek and Diner's. Relatively easy access to beaches on both shores - North shore calmer waters, South shore - the ocean. Fantastic views from various harbors and a number of museums. Access to NYC - train ride away.

    Really nice venue with large rooms, nice bedside lamps and charging ports, convenient parking. No fault of the hotel's because of Covid, but we missed the excellent breakfast they used to offer. We will definitely return if we need accommodations in the area.

    If your looking at cheap places to stay this is the place.

    If your looking at cheap places to stay this is the place. Staff are very nice and try to be helpful but they have no control over who they rent to. The people who were staying there I saw were there because their company was looking for the cheapest place to house their employees. This creates an element most folks are not happy to be staying with.

    I double checked with all three front desks to see if I could extend my room, and everyone told me yes, but today they suddenly called me and told me no. I asked her why and she said they didn't even tell her, so you had to leave today. I've been staying with you for a month and it's been a great experience. Now a poor pregnant woman who doesn't know where to go. Because the hotel receptionist told me I must leave now. Back to the room tomorrow.

    The beds were cozy and firm— just what I like. The rooms are set back from the busy turnpike location in Woodbury, which makes them relatively quiet. Parking is right in front of these rooms, which means you have a space right in front of your room. There’s a terrific diner about 300 yards away on the same side of the turnpike, and the coffee machine in the breakfast area brews each cup freshly.

    Overall the hotel was a great base for our visit to East Norwich and Oyster Bay. The rooms were generously sized, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The gym was also well equipped. The front desk staff were friendly and all requests were responded to very efficiently. The shuttle service was very handy for getting from the hotel to places in the vicinity.
